Things I like:
Tf2 is like, the only game out there right now that fills it's "class based sorta slower FPS". It's still a twitch shooter, but at the same time I don't feel totally useless if i'm not great at that, and the classes really feel different. Seeing someone else really explore this idea with a large amount of classes is a good thing, especially since several of the playstyles seem interesting.
They're really messing with some neat design space with the playstyles they've got, and 6v6 standard, with so many different classes, should be very interesting.
Art style is nice and finally something not warcraft/starcraft/diablo. While some feel like they'd fit in those worlds, everyone actually looks unique, and it's nice to see something with blizzard polish that isn't cashing in on old IP's.
Things i'm concerned about:
While they're doing better than the D3/SC2/WoW expansion days, I'm still not in love with blizzard as of late. I'm very concerned this will be a "casual" thing, which means they'll just ignore the fact that X/Y/Z class is broken as hell. With SO many classes it's going to be hard to balance, and that's a shame because my biggest turnoff from TF2 is the fact that the most boring classes are the most viable, and the game isn't really made with competitive in mind.
Seeing roles laid out in the same way that HoTS/lol/dota might makes me cringe. I've been playing dota for more than a decade, but i've never liked that it was so complicated, and i've hated that other companies have taken that obfuscation as a way to have "more content" without putting the effort in to balance it. If this winds up going the same route i'll be tremendously disappointed.
