What are the characters and moves that use the stance button? I'v never noticed or heard anyone mention that before.
Quan uses the stance button for a couple of his Bat attacks, and it appears when he uses them he does not switch stance at the same time. So clearly NRS has a way to disable it for everybody and they just don't care.

Since the stream is targeted to mainstream audience I have a few questions that fit

1) What about alternate and classic costumes?
2) Is the hardest mode AI going to be actually hard and "fundamental"?
3) Why you chose not to include TAG TEAM mode?
4) Plans for DEMO?

Searching for an alt.
I have a two statements and some questions.
--Thanks @tylerlansdown for asking us in the first place. Its super nice to get back and forth with developers!
--MANY THANKS TO WHOEVER BROUGHT BACK NEUTRAL JUMP PUNCHES! They are, in my opinion, one of the most iconic things in MK9 and they just look cool.

I'm curious about the controls.
--Is there going to be the Alternate Controls from Injustice again? If so, please don't make back to forward half circles again. I love alt controls though, and will probably use them either way.
--What of negative edge? Can we turn it off again?
--Is there any point during a dash when I can hit the block button to not run, but just block as early as possible after recovery?
--Why do air grabs need a down input with them now?
--Am I the only one who has troubles with up normals? Ok, I guess I'm out of questions then.

EDIT-- I agree with @Kitana Prime that we would love to know if there are frames for releasing block?

Hey is that baller ass beat in the trailers in the game anywhere or is this another Arrow's Trailer situation? Also, how long after release are we going to have to deal with shitty youtube rips before a proper soundtrack is put out?

A couple easy questions.

Will 50/50 stage selection make a return?
Will you finally add an option to turn off battle damage and blood?
Will player 1/2 color differences be adjusted so I can actually tell them apart?
Is there a particular reason you use 3D hitboxes over 2D hitboxes?
Will input buffering be adjusted from MK9/Injustice, where the dialing in won't be as strict?
Is projectile clashing unique to Sub-Zero's EX ice ball, or is it a common trait among various EX projectiles?

Is there any way to add an "alternate blocking" option similar to/alongside Injustice's alternate controls?

Back to block and neutral down to block mid will not be affected by horizontal teleports in any way...

Unless NRS is trying to be funny with overhead horizontal teles of course.

If not, how are the frames on releasing block? Can you move/punish immediately or is there a delay?

PS @tylerlansdown still waiting on that Harley f2 buff we talked about at UFGTX...

In episode 2F09 when Sub-Zero plays Scorpion's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

1) Can they elaborate on the training mode (in-game frame data, hitbox highlighting, etc.)
2) Will we be able to "hidden-select" variations to characters as well?

Mention some of the specific purposes of some of the moves (normals) characters (Cassie preferably) have already please, and possibly why and how you balanced them.

Also, will there be any WB love for the Euro tournament scene either pre or post release? i.e. Demo tournaments/WB prize pots etc.
Ditto this, I'll make a conscious effort to ask the first question.

@tylerlansdown Can you guys briefly explain which direction you're going with invincible wakeup attacks (and wakeup attacks in general)? Will it indeed cost meter to have an invincible wakeup or are we going to have "get out of jail free" cards again?
