That's the beauty of actually playing and exploring the game instead of just immediately chucking or ignoring a move because it appears "useless". Remember back when Tom Brady, a legitimate member of the community and the QA staff said that MB Trident Rush was "not a great move"?
You, like many others, are actually mistaken..
I have NEVER said trident rush was bad, useless, not good, etc... What I said was "its not as good as people think."....
I originally said this back when Aquaman had a block infinite with the option for a safe 50/50 with the then safe low scoop. Back then I was saying "Why would I trident was when I get in over putting you in a block infinite where I also have the option to mix you up with a safe low launcher or overhead launcher that is a block infinite?".. And I was NOT mistaken when I said that at that point in the game...
However.. I was involved in a few projects over the last year so I did not play as much hence I did not evolve my game with the top players. I fell behind and spoke the same statement out of ignorance. I was 100% wrong because the Trident Rush is the best option in this version of the game. Speaking out of ignorance is not the same as putting time in and failing to see how good something is. I assure you that I would have quickly seen how dominant of a move the trident rush was had I been grinding in the current game.
