Just upgraded my rig so I'd LOVE to buy it on PC and play it on my old PS3 Madcatz TE!

MK9 And injustice work very good on pc with the proper hardware/connection. I have played people multiple times on PC that have great connections. To be honest I even played people from MK9 from Europe and had a better connection then i Had on console in the same country. So. LBSH props for trying to get the PC guys invovled but we all been playing MK9 since PC launch and Injustice. We are fucked because we have strong pcs and the people who see a steam sale can't go to "canirunit" (google it) and understand their pcs just can't handle it. Anyway add me EdFig81 on steam #masterace I will be on MKx and also on xbone.I see a lot of topics on here complaining about the netcode and other issues with IGAU and MK9 for PC. I get it. It sucks that it was ported late and somewhat lazily, although it is currently working well for me online.
That being said some friends and I are trying to build a community of MK or other FGC players for the PC version of MKX. We think this game is going to be unbelievably awesome and we are only concered of the community (or lack thereof) that PC may have generated (partially because of the port issues with Voltage).
I have started a group on steam to hype about MKX and down the line help each other improve and level up. Lets make MKX on PC a totally viable option for those who generally steer away from consoles.

Actually, for most people it was the way to set 60 -> 30 FPS, just so that you don't get slow-mo anymore (and you needed one hell of a rig to support 60 FPS no matter what; although there were a few touches of weidness about it too).
yes, plug and play. I use my Dual Modded HitBox in Xbox 360 mode and it's completely plug and play, no problems. The proper ABXY buttons even show up in-game, it's very nice. Just like if you were on xbox.

what kind of potato were you trying to run the game on? it doesn't take much to run mk at 60fps, I am able to do it with just the integrated graphics on my CPU AND stream it at the same time with no frame dips.... I don't understand.

It's not always a matter of specs. Some run it smoothly on what can indeed be called potato these days. Some cannot even launch it more than once with hardware that is decent (not worse than mine, anyways).
Didn't Capcom rush Ultra to get it out before evo? Which is the reason there i no retail version and PC version atm? I dont think something like this will happen with mkx. But the point is they wont release it when they are done working on the game like they did with mk9 or injustice im 100% sure.
Gamers like to think that Capcom rushed Ultra for EVO but it's really hard to tell if thats true. More likely its not. Coz if you look at the track record of Capcom SF PC releases its always been few months after the console release.

But I can play Injustice and Dota 2 on high is just MK9 that has problems just look on steam how many people have problems with it.
Hmmm I dunno man, that is weird if you can run Inj but not MK for whatever reason.
And that's the reason people prefer to think that MKX won't be ported the same way MK9 and IGAU were. Those ports are weird like that.
You can also get a xbox 1 controller to if you plan on getting one of them
Where did he exactly said that HV gonna do the port again? Thou we suspected that much but i don't recall him confirming that.
I dont have the old tweets bookmarked but I recall seeing it. A dev hinted that they might take care of the port in house, then about a month later a Boon tweet revealed High Voltage was involved again. I can't recall specifically.
