Skullgirls on PS4 Will Support PS3 Fight Sticks

Very cool of Lab Zero. Not only are they developing a driver to let you use your last-gen stick on the PS4, they're giving it away for free to any other developers who want to use it for their games to save the players some cash.

I know nothing about game design and engineering but I'm guessing MKX is far too late in development for this to be implemented. I wonder if the driver could be patched in if NRS was interested?

I thought people would be excited about this. PS4 players might not have to shell out another ~$200

If other FG devs take this offer up, then honestly, I don't see why Xbox One would ever be used outside of KI.

This gen's sticks are EXPENSIVE so far. Like, I understand a multi-mod stick being 200 bucks, but this one just works for ONE console...that already costs 400 bucks.

this is def cool since they are actually giving it away free. I'm a pad player so doesn't effect me but for people who use sticks. They should be hopeful that they (like you said) would not have to shell out more money.

Really hoping that this starts a trend. For those who have shelled out $$$ for a stick, and especially those who have put some love into a custom stick, this would be a huge break.

Sony ought to be proactively nudging developers in this direction. I don't personally have a PS4 or Xbox One yet, but I would not even consider the Xbox version of a FG if I could use my custom stick (a PS3/360 dual mod) on the PS4 version.

Agreed, I think this is the only thing that would make TOs run MKX on PS4 since a lot of players already have XB1 for KI. Unless it just ends up running better on PS4
