A trainer for Destiny? Really?

It would seem that there's a trainer for the game (not readily available to the public) if you have a modded 360.

This kind of stuff shouldn't be possible when a game is online only. Hopefully Bungie will figure out a way to prevent this kind of thing.

So, if you see anyone that's moving a lot faster than normal, jumping über high, not dying regardless of how much damage they take, one-shotting almost everything, etc., report them immediately.

Nothing can put destiny on par with Borderlands.
Not in a positive way. But with this God Mode trainer and the modding that goes on with Borderlands, that puts them on par with one another in that regard alone.

any popular game will have hacks, because there's profit in it. you're stupid if you don't know that.
I never claimed to think otherwise. It's just stupid that people are going to do this and get banned and then search all over the Internet to pay for a bypass.

lol @ "report them immediately"

I'm glad that few of you have Xbones so I won't have to listen to constant complaints about Sunset Overdrive

360's have been modded inside and out for a long time. 6 or 7 years ago I had mine modded with hacked firmware on my disk drive so I could play burned copies of games. Hacking them these days is easy for those with the ambition to do so.

As far as I know the same cannot be said for the Xboxone yet...

So, you condone this type of thing? What's the point of playing the game if you're just going to cheat your way through it?

Yes, I know. But it's still not something everyone is going to have or know about.

You're assuming these are legitimate players who have any sort of personal investment in the game or community. These are serial cheaters / pirates who are just enjoying the latest bowl of griefberries. Cheaters going to cheat no matter what game and what platform, and the second you catch them / throw them out they'll just wait til someone finds a way around the ban or go play something else.

I don't assume they're legitimate at all. I just think it's dumb to waste money on something like this for a game so you can just cruise through it on EZ Mode.

To each their own, I suppose.

I'm with you I've never understood why people use aim bots in FPS's or wall hacks. But people do some people obviously enjoy it. I don't understand it, but that doesn't change the reality of its existence.

I could get on a soap box and speak like an old timer about how kids don't like challenges these days and games used to be a lot harder. But that's not always true, and some of the difficulty in older games was due to hardware limitations. Regardless it's besides the point.

To have fun.
I can understand that if you wait until AFTER you've done everything the game currently has to offer. But I doubt that would be the case with everyone that would use this. Y'know, start a fresh character and just breeze through everything.

As long as they're not in the crucible modding, I don't really care.

Also, I've never heard of the term "trainer" used to describe a modder. The only time I've heard "trainer" is with "Pokemon" before it.
