ScrewAttack Death Battle Preview: Scorpion vs Ryu

Soon we will see a fight between two icons from two very different games. The Hellspawn, Scorpion will be taking on the Japanese master, Ryu. ScrewAttack has put together two preview videos showcasing both of the characters histories and the chance they may have against their opponent. After all, since Ed Boon'll likely never get to have this happen in a game... I guess this is the only way!

They're both jobbers of their respective universes lol. But I guess ERyu is pretty strong.

This would be more interesting if it was ERyu vs The Scorpion-like Guardian from MKD

Great, another ScrewAttack MK vs. Vid, we all know who's winning this match lol...(for those who don't know what I mean by that, SA's has a history with not having MK win many matches, in fact they won only one literally out of like the 4 or 5 they've done. If "their" version of this fight has Scorpion win, I'll be very surprised..

But in all seriousness, Scorpion should and WOULD win. I know they're using the normal versions and not EG Deception Scorpion powered and Evil Ryu, but still Scorpion is already dead and has powers Ryu can't answer such as BRF, Hell, TP, fire powers etc. I'm pretty sure though EG powered Scorp would tear Ryu and most of SFU a new asshole.

Yeah pretty much most franchises feel that way lol when they hear "crossover with MK?" I know DC toned down the game to T, but I still have to them DC credit for at least agreeing to have bruises, some blood etc(and there were some fatalities done to them technically) just nothing over the top. Meanwhile Capcom and Marvel are like yeah...crossover with MK? Yeah...no, don't want Spiderman killed and Capcom pretty much same thing lol.

I'm not even sure Capcom would agree to a T rated(pushed boundries) game because MK vs. DCU still had MK guys killing others.

Yeah its like every other company that makes fighting games is afraid of doing business with NRS b/c of that. They make it sound like NRS are bullies, lol.

I know right? lol I think NRS are bunch of great, nice guys. They just don't want to agree to have MK characters play cookies and tea lol that other fighters do.

I hate Scorpion and his fanboys, so I'm hoping he got bopped here even though I think he should beat Ryu.
