What's new

Will you play Injustice after MKX is out?

Proooobably not. I would love too keep leveling up my arrow, but I doubt I'll have the time to keep playing both at a high level. If I somehow managed to find a way to balance both out it would really just depend on the community. I'm not going to keep logging in if the only people left playing are random deathstrokes and scorpion players on ranked for example.

That's why I'm asking from all the good players here to keep it up and not to quit this game.
Playing on ranked matches is boring... Lots of rage quits, you mostly get to play against beginners.

So anyone who still plays this game on XBL, name your tags here!!

I already don't :(
It was good and all, but I think getting a taste for MK again made me realise how much more I enjoy MK over Injustice.
I eventually gave up on Injustice and got bored of it... and that was 10 months ago, i've played the game I think... 3 or 4 times this whole year.
Shame really it was good but ehh.

It don’t always be like it is... but it do.
Hell naw, Tf I look like? I don't play Injustice now. I like watching the game and I played it for about 4 months and just didn't like playing it. I'll still play MK9 once MKX comes out so yeah I can play two games at once.

Coming from a 99% online experience, No.

Later in MK9's lifespan, I tried to learn the roster and picked up some shitter characters like Jade and Sheeva to troll and have fun with. Despite their matchups being objectively shit, I've never felt like there were situations where they truly didn't have a way out of a bind. Sure, you might have 1 option and it might be horrible and not work, but you at least feel like you can outsmart your opponent and have a fighting chance. A big part of it is that it's always hype when it works.

With Injustice, I don't feel that way. Some matchups are just unwinnable. It's a problem when Aquaman gets more chip damage from blockstrings than Harley gets from punishes. It's a problem when you have to respect 4 specials from Zod full screen lol. It's a problem when Zod's secondary zoning tool is faster than Harley's primary zoning tool. It's a problem when 16 Bit goes into Grand Finals against Theo and declares on stream in a pre-game interview that he sincerely believes he has no chance of winning.

There's also the issue of execution vs. brokenness. Call Kabal's dash cancels or Cyrax's resets or Kenshi's zoning or Sonya's rushdown broken all you want, but they all took a significant amount of execution skill and practice. Only good Kenshi players like Pig could consistently keep players out and time spirit charge correctly. Fraud Kenshis get zoned out and cross up punished free. Contrast that with Injustice, where Martian online can get overhead tele into mbb3 into b12 into push absolutely free and some characters just have to completely respect it. That shit takes no effort at all. Aquaman requires no skill either.

Last, but certainly not least, I was raised playing the MK series, not reading comic books. The nostalgia factor for DC just isn't there for me, so I don't feel attached to it at all.

No. I liked the game but the meta really wore me down. There's just so much crazy stuff like meter less safe vortexes, safe invincible wakeups, etc.

It's a hard game to keep up with, and I found KI to be just the right balance between regular 6 button fighting and gimmicky meta breaking fun. I felt Injustice leaned a bit too far to the latter, even more so than MVC3; which is kinda an incredible acheivement when you think about it, yet difficult to deal with nonetheless

Maybe. It depends on how good MKX's online will be. If its pretty good I probably wont play INJ unless im somehow playing it offline

No. I barely play the game as is and I STILL havent purchased Manhunter/Zatanna. I just dont feel the drive to get any better at the game.
I HOPE that MKX is a better, less frustrating game, but if it also fails to meet my expectations I'll just play another FG(XRD will be my priority when it drops anyway).

I love this game. It brought me into DC comics which I now love. But I love Mk as well. But for some reason there I something that makes me question MKX.
Oh well I'll play both.
Maybe I can finally travel for MKX.

And I will find more tech than

Not like i'm going to forget the year and half's worth of muscle memory so it wont to be to much of a chore to just jump online, however you best believe due to my lack of offline time with Injustice if anywhere has a side station or side tournament for Injustice i'll blast that shit out for hours game is still fun as hell offline. Still to this day load it up and go through near the whole cast and mess around in training mode if i'm a little board do it SF aswell might just be me but I still have fun performing the badass combos fighters have!

If my local community drops it, I'll probably stop playing it. If they want to keep at it I'll keep playing Billy.

I don't have the energy or the drive to maintain a community all by myself. If I did, I'd try to get VF started here.
