Tragedy at Super Arcade - The Passing of Terrance "PushaTee88" Moore

At tonight's Runback tournament for SoCal's LevelUpLive series, PushaTee88 was taking part in a 12-man Killer Instinct local when he passed out right after his loss against a TJ Combo player. Reports indicate he was only semi-breathing, but had a pulse.

Nobody knows what caused him to drop like that, but last we heard before the streams went down a hushed voice was telling the streamer to call 9-1-1 and that Pusha had passed out. After what seemed like forever, paramedics arrived and rushed him to the hospital...where he was pronounced dead.

Whether you knew him or not, his sudden loss strikes a blow at the hearts of everyone in the fighting game community. I cannot begin to express my sadness over his departure from the world. I wish his family and friends all the best as they struggle to cope with this tragedy.

Wow, Super Arcade just tweeted what alluded to PushaTee88 passing away. I hope I'm wrong about it.

I'm sincerely hoping for the best. I really hope that Super Arcade tweet doesn't mean what I think it means...

Seems MarkMan was kept up to date on the situation...which means Mike's tweet meant exactly what we thought.

This is so random and sad. I'm assuming he was young, maybe an unknown diabetic or blood clot issue? Things like this are happening more and more to people of younger age brackets; it's scary and sad.

No one knows, I don't think, but I have an idea of what it could have been. I remember reading about an illness that can lead to specifically this. It's awful, and there's no real way to know when it'll happen.

Seriously, this is no bueno. I never met Pusha or knew him at all, but any member of the FGC is a brother of mine, regardless.

R.I.P Pushatee 88, this is very shocking news indeed. I met him at SCR and EVO and have talked to him some and he was definitely a cool and chill guy. I can't believe that this just happened , I hope his family can get through this because this is definitely an unfortunate situation. @AK RM Blake correct me if I'm wrong, but he has a brother who is an 88 as well I believe?

I am sorry, but I don't know, MIT. I never got to know him nor have I kept myself up to date on his life.

that's fine, I think I am right and he does have a brother who is an 88 as well. Things like these happen out of no where a lot of the times and catch people off guard .

It's a reminder of how quickly, and simply, it can all end, isn't it?

Never even heard of the guy before but this is made my heart sink. Quite depressing, really. RIP. I feel for his family.
