Everything wrong with Destiny

This weeks Nightfall you could probably solo it is so easy. Just have to be careful and bring 7 or 8 ammo synthesis with you. There is a cover spot in the diagonal corner from where you enter the last room where no one can enter and no one can hit you when you take cover. I was doing 8k a shot with my sniper and he went down SUPPPPER fast. I actually thought the Nightfall was easier than the Weekly Heroic.
Fuck this week's Weekly Heroic. I was at the end (put it on level 28 for the extra awards) and was on the last Vex wave with all those stupid Minotaurs and I got kicked back to orbit due to a "connection error" or some shit. I went back to go do it and the one-time rewards were no longer available.

Fuck. This. Mission. All those Minotaurs on level 28 during the last wave are fucking dumb. I'll just do it at its base level if it ever shows up again. -.-

Hah, are you talking about the daily?? I solo'd that really quick this morning. the last wave with the 4 minotaurs kinda sucks a bit...but if you just space them out and stay up higher you should be fine. The weekly heroic is the Mars mission with the tank and the ultra Kuhhhhhbawllllll dude.

Oh, wait. Yeah, I was thinking of the daily. But still, on 28 it's a pain in the ass when you have 3 Minotaurs shooting things up your ass the entire time. -.-

I still haven't done it yet. =(

Still haven't completed nightfall yet. =( But this week's is the arc burn modifier and I certainly have arc weapons. I didn't have any solar weapons for last weeks. Got the last boss down to like 20% and we all died and decided, "fuck it." and quit.
I've beaten all the nightfall so far. This one is definitely the hard but there's a camping spot near the boss. Just go in there and you are immune every attack coming at you, while you blast the boss away. Its gonna take a while but you're guaranteed a win. I got a damn good auto rifle afterwards, but I was kinda Bummed because I already have the exotic Auto lol

You're not alone mate it drove me mad tbh. Needed void rockets really but kept running out and every time I got one of their health down, they regenerated their shields. Grrr.....

Oh, not only that, they run away like fucking mad when they want to regenerate their shields. I know it's what we do as well, but omg. They teleport at JUST the right time when I go to throw a grenade at them. >_<

lol yeah I'm sure that's intentional, it's the same with fusion rifles. I think I just got impatient and thought 'right have this!' whilst charging up my exotic fusion bastard. zzzzZZZZ Pow! *tele!

Noooooo!!!

I haven't even bothered to buy or play this game. Every time I read a review or article on Destiny, I'm further disappointed by the loss of potential caused by poor decisions made by the publisher. I was going to buy a new console specifically for this game, but I'm glad I didn't since I hate grindfests.

There are a lot of problems with the game, but people love to sugarcoat it by saying, "I don't know about you, but I'm having a BLAST playing this boring as fuck game with half as many features as Borderlands."

Just imagine how much of a better game you would be playing if Bungie actually delivered on their promises. You guys just enjoy paying full price for and playing half-baked games, which is saddening because you should actually be demanding more bang for your buck.

This was supposed to be the AAA successor to the revolutionary Halo franchise. Instead of a 10/10 or even 9/10 game, you guys received a 6-7/10 lukewarm "above average" game. I'll buy the "Complete" edition of the game perhaps with all the DLC included maybe; preferably a PC port.

Nightfall is free with the arc damage buff with that camping spot. You just need 1 person to sit back and chill and revive if needed while you come out and bait the boss and snipe everything. Very little risk in this week's Nightfall.

On a side note, I am actually enjoying the new loot system after the first day and really liked just blowing through a bunch of strikes in order to get loot rather than having to post up at the Loot Cave for an hour or so...

where is the hiding spot?

just curious. This is one of the most tedious strikes in the game by far.

Last night we did the raid in 2 hours and had 1 new player who was only 26. Next time I think we can do it in under 90 minutes, im pretty sure of that. Raid is so much fun!

I'd like to know this as well. I only know of one spot, but it's on the opposite side of where the boss starts.

Where the boss spawns as you're coming in on the right side, go up the ramp, all the way to the end of the ramp, and drop to the corner. There's a little hole there and you can just sit there and kill the boss while being immune to everything

It is diagonally opposite to where you enter the arena. Just a slight double jump gets you over the short box along the wall and behind the cover that you can shoot though.

I don't know about you, but I don't really find boring games fun. I don't find this game boring at all. Do you really think I'm just playing this game every day out of some sort blind delusion? I play it cuz it's fun. It's as simple as that. Why is that do hard to grasps?

Could it be better? Absolutely! But if it's enjoyable and fun as is then why not play it anyway?

Nice. Did you solo it? How long did it take? Wondering if I should bite the bullet and solo it or spend the time to get a group together to run through it faster.

Bungie did everything they could.

By the way, those reviews came out the week the game came out. That with the format of releasing content in small bits more frequently over time... there's no way those reviews can even be accurate.

The game is good. It's not what it was made out to be due to pressure from activision and the dev shifts. But... it's still a really good, fun game. If you wait forever to buy it... you're going to miss out on the experience of the content/storyline developing as time goes on. But that's your call.

Not saying that I haven't had a bit of fun with this game. But Destiny is losing it's charm fast. I'm finding it rather difficult to finish the main story on account of the laughably repetitive missions. PvP seems a bit broken as well.
