Haha, but still, this is an awesome reveal. Purple seems to fit him, don't know why but it does.

I am just left speechless after this. Again, Netherrealm Studios, you have impressed me by stunningly reveal a character that looks just... so AWESOME!

Quan Chi looks epic, love what I am seeing so far. He is one of the best villains of MK and I was hoping for his reveal. I love what they have done with his design. He just looks like he has strengthened his position significantly and has all the power he's ever wanted. His X-ray is OK, could have been better honestly but his Fatality has me so hyped cause he is finally using his fucking SORCERY! Something I've been requesting since before MK9.

The only real letdown for me so far is his lacking Summoner variation. If you look at his Summoner variation description in the select screen, it only says that he can summon a bat. Why a bat of all things? Where are those sexy green skeletons from the MKA intro? He should have a little more to summon.

All in all, very satisfied. Well done NRS. I hope he is high up in the tier list and we see him used frequently in tourneys.

A) A release trailer
B) Footage of him fighting in another character's release trailer/demo at any expo
C) His face on the character select menu.

It all points to him not being on the actual roster.

I don't know what "not on the actual roster" is, just think of him as dlc. Cause that's what he is. PRE-ORDER NOW TO FIGHT AS GORO means "free day one dlc, everyone else waits a month".

We haven't seen anything cause he's not even remotely done. They just made that picture to make people pre-order.

I just thought Fujin or Shinnok. White eyes on the shadow face really threw me off because I didn't consider Quan having white eyes in Mkx.

In regards to the summoner variation, it looks like he can use the summoned beast in different ways, which should be interesting to play around with. Towards the end of the video you see him use the bat as a low attack (I think) where it comes in off of the screen like a bat out of hell (lol) It looked like he also used it to lengthen his combos. The variation looks fun, but to me the Warlock variation looks really really good. He's stabbing you with swords, grabbing you by the neck, kicking you in the abdomen, all through summoned Netherrealm portals. It looks to have a lot of potential and shows much promise.

Tbh this reveal was very good. It's just the one month hype built around it that kind of unhyped the reveal. and Quan is a obvious choice on the roster. None of us guessed it would be him for this reveal, but we all knew he'd be on the roster. and to be fair the hints given weren't as good this time. lol
