This Thursday will be the third time that The Kombat Tether get a hands-on play session of Mortal Kombat X. It will be during EGX in London where The Kombat Tether have confirmed their attendance. Below are links to their two previous articles in which they have expressed their impressions of the game (still in very early development) and the characters themselves.
Here is what The Kombat Tether had to say regarding their trip this Thursday:

We go hands on again for the third time with Mortal Kombat X this Thursday at EGX. What should we check into during our play sessions, gameplay-wise? NetherRealm Studios will not be in attendance so there is no opportunity for questions or interviews, but we have two full days to play the game and take any gameplay-related queries.
Be sure to pick your brain and theirs for some great and different questions that haven't been answered yet!

We'd also like to thank @Tyrant-Cenobite and @Casselman of The Kombat Tether for their continued Mortal Kombat X coverage!

Kotal Totems, Cage's Hollywood variation, are grabs actually grabs and maybe some intro dialogue. I'm sure whatever they report it'll be better than radio silence and more questions about fatalities.

Sorry if some of these were already answered in another thread. Will edit if I get answers.

Stamina
Situation: Opponent has 2 meters and full stamina. He backdashes (eating 1 bar of stamina), you read/chase it and do a full combo punish. Q: I'd like to know IF their stamina refills during the combo and how fast stamina refills. Basically to know how many seconds do you have before they are able to breaker your punish.

MB Throw
Clarify how MB throws work. Can you reset someone who is in a juggle state with a MB throw or can you only do it on grounded opponents? Can you combo into throws from the ground? Does a MB throw do more damage? If both players hold up after a successful MB throw, what is the frame advantage like? (small adv. like +5 or huge adv. like +30) If you MB and they tech your throw, do you lose 1 bar or does it only MB when the throw happens?

Run
Do you have to completely finish a dash and return to idle animation before being able to hold block without triggering the run? Or can you start holding block on the late frames of a dash and not run?

Possibly answered by trufenix? http://testyourmight.com/threads/the-kombat-tether-asking-for-mkx-game-play-questions-for-their-play-session-this-thursday-egx.46098/#post-1488879

Normal/Special hit Trades
Do some trades appear to give more hit advantage? Or is it always like +0.

Meter Building
Does meter building amounts appear to be universal? What seems to build the most meter? Is it specials on hit/block/whiff, blockstrings or combos?

Combos
When both players are grounded, can a D1, D3 or D4 combo into a very quick special? (Scorpion's spear and Sub's ice blast are NOT quick specials lol) Can D1/D3 be chained into itself?

Interactables
Do they build a good amount of meter on use/hit/block? Do most of them give a hard knockdown on hit? Are they considerably + on block? Do they do a lot of chip damage?

If someone already knows the answer to some of these please let me know and I'll remove the question.

Fujin and Ermac for MK 11
Hmm well there is a few I'm wondering.

-How do wake ups work? Please tell me more like MK9, and NOT Injustice.

-Would you say cross ups are slower or pointless this time around?

-NJP's are slower, correct?

-How exactly do EX throws or MB throws work? They leave you standing, but is this just for having the offensive advantage via position so they can't use a wake up or stay on the ground? Hopefully as many have said this won't lead to easy resets, also does the EX throw do more damage than normal throw?

-With the run, it's been confirmed you can't cancel into block so it's more risky this time around and committed however, I believe NRS confirmed that you can cancel the run into a backdash or special move, is this correct?

-Concerning Raiden's Stormlord or MasterofStorms rather, his electrical ball lightning placement, do you know if once you place one does it stay on the screen until you place the other or will it disappear eventually if you don't do the second one and connect them? Thanks!

Could you just explore the combination of walkspeed + running in the footsies game more.

It's a pretty general request. I'm basically saying try playing the game like you think it'll be at a high level instead of pretending its still Mk9. Everyone that has played so far has said they haven't really used running intentionally at all.

No dashing into people's faces like Injustice; dashes have recovery. No pretending like there is dash blocking like Mk9. Instead really try to discover some footsie normals that stop approaches, abuse walkspeed improvements, and use running cancelled into attacks for whiff punishing and pressure and tell us how it feels.

- Can SZ freeze an opponent twice in one combo by doing a regular ice ball and an EX ice blast? I believe Max mentioned that this was possible. Please confirm

- As a few have asked already, how does MB throw work exactly?

- Can you cancel full (grounded) chain combos into special moves or do you have to do this before the final hit of the chain combo?

Btw, I am new here. Great site

I really want to know the answer to your "Run" question.

I'm definitely going to want to be able to dash into a block and not end up running at my opponent.

Non-gameplay question: Will filming be allowed? If so could you record some Raiden's (displacer) gameplay and his new X-Ray?

I feel like this is the absolute most answered question of all the plays thus far, not sure how people are missing it. The point when you can block is the same time as when you can do anything else. There is no part of the dash that's block friendly and dashing is now 100% unsafe. You're better off walking or running and mashing your safest string marvel style.

one question, do we still have NJP bounces like in mk9? also some of the above posters has some excellent questions as well, no reason for me to re post them : p.

Thanks I didn't know this was already answered. I hope it's something they tweak a bit. Like make a small window at the end of the dash that doesn't trigger running. I would even make it half/half: First half frames = run, last half = no run.

btw I know this was kind of tested and semi answered in another thread. But the problem is there has been conflicting reports on it. I remember watching some video where a character did D4 xx Special and the combo counter showed 2 hits. It's unclear if the D4 combo'd into the special or if the special was 2 hits.

Hey @Casselman, glad you guys are doing this for us :D

This time i would like you guys to check if there is a counter mechanic, i mean:

On one of your previous covers, you guys stated that D1 into specials are not linkable, yet loogie stated that in his sub-zero cover d1 into specials is linkable a while ago, i was thinking, maybe its 2 in 1, maybe some characters can link d1 into specials while others cannot.
Or... they're not linkable unless of course if someone is punished on counter state, all d1's and d3's into special becomes possible.

Either those or is constantly changing from build trough build.

Anybody got details of this event? Could potentially go, not likely, but potentially.

If I do go hopefully I could get some time to find stuff out.

wait, you can combo off MB throw? how did i miss that info?
No, you could combo INTO mb throws, not afterwards.

After you mb throw the opponent is left standing and the person who used the mb throw will be at frame advantage.

Ok cool, thanks for the reply.
