I don't know of a way to grind motes of light but I'll hop in a minute if you want to do the weekly strike.

Engram farming, dude. Blues and purples all have a chance to yield a Strange Coin/Mote of Light. Get those and hope for the best and then if it levels up your Cryptarch, hope you get some from the Engrams he provides.

I've been farming for like 5 days… the only legendary i have is my mark from FWC. I've only picked up 2 legendary engrams, one yielded a rare and the other was a strange coin. Been stuck on light lvl 21 for dayyyyyssss now...

The tier 4 Strikes (Tiger I think they're called) will yield you lvl 20 Blues with +Light. I'm lvl 23 now with only one Legendary on.

I'm in the same boat dood. Farming doesn't get me anything better than greens and randoms keep dropping out of strikes :(

I've got about 12 friends who are 26+. I'm not able to do anything today (work) or tomorrow (RM war). But Monday-Thursday, I'm game. If I get something set up, are you interested?

Ooooooy! I hate PvP. >_> I had to slog through it enough to get the 500 points I needed for my Exotic bounty and I'm finally on the last step. Just have to get some folks to help me with it some time tomorrow before the war with EMPEROR.

But perhaps we can do some PvP together some time.

So it looks like upgrading gear with light on it increases the light level a few points too. I just hit 25, still with only 2 Purple Armor and 2 lvl 20 fully upgraded Blue pieces. I'm loving Striker Titan, I know it's supposed to be the more offensive heavy Titan but Flashbang is the only hard stun (control) in the game and it really makes a difference on spawns. I'm getting a bit used to swapping on the fly to Defender though when we need those shields. I like the damage mitigation the two sub-classes offer: Defender = Shields (read Defense boosts) to face tank and buff teammates where Striker = Health regen (Recovery) and mitigation through stun.

I can't decide on how to stat on the moment and no one seems to want to talk builds. Right now I'm taking what armor pieces I can get to drop but you best believe before I fork some hard earned Marks over, I'm going to have a plan. What are you high level guys shooting for build wise?

For Titans Int and Discipline. Both Fists and Bubble are too good not to always have up and Their grenades are so good, especially Defender's Magnetic grenade and Strike Flashbang. I'm going to start leveling up FWC as soon as I hit Vanguard rank 3 because of what they sell is high int/disc.
