This game is instantly at least 80% better.
Glitch Jabs are the primary reason people give on why they either stopped playing, or don't play period. The game will have more depth with that change alone, and more appealing to watch and play. But UMK3 without glitch jabs and all the other changes to characters, I can see this game becoming popular again. I just hope that too many changes at once doesn't severely mess everything up somehow.

I know some people won't like the removal of glitch jabs and the balance changes, but personally I'm 100% for it. The game is really dry right now, not many if any new players, and the best either stopped playing or rarely play. If this came out 3 or 4 years ago, I'd probably be against it. But I want people to play UMK3, I want to play UMK3. Some of the only really good players I still play on occasion, use glitch jabs a lot. It just gets frustrating and boring, especially against Kabal (yeah, you bass, lol). I played Konqrr a few weeks ago, neither us used glitch jabs hardly at all, and it was some of the most fun matches I've had in awhile. I want more of that.
 
I think removal of glitch jabs ALONE is a good balance hack. Honestly, I would like to see tournament edition for sure, but also regular old UMK3 wth the glitch jabs removed.

I'm pretty sure this was the hackers response to Phils ransom letter. Remove glitch gabs… If you learn Liu Kang.
Did I just hear @9.95 get more excited than when he called @R.E.O. 's sheeva corner toe tap infinite on @Shock ?!

Don't worry guys... There will be a two additional hacks released with the TE hack. Both with the jugg hack, a no glitch jabs version and one with minor fixes and no gjs.
Wow, this is certainly going above and beyond! I would've just told Glitch Jab fans that vanilla UMK3 wasn't going anywhere, and they could always play that. ;)

Revision 2.0.027:
  • LP now causes iceskate against crouching opponents in the corner *new*
NOTE: Because of the reduced blockstun change that removed the corner jab infinite, there is no longer iceskate. This means that the attacker can jab forever without fear of being pushed back and forces the blocking opponent to take damage in order to get out. This change allows the blocking opponent a way out.

Just a small change to go with the other jab fixes.

So UMK3:TE with all the balance changes will be released, and then UMK3 with just corner jab inf and glitch jabs removed? Or is it just without glitch jabs?

Still awaiting Sheeva buffs. She will be my main in UMK3:TE if the changes help her weaknesses.

I'm sure she will be the last of the normal charcters to be changed.
What do you mean normal characters? And why will she be last? She needs more attention than most of the cast to make her competitive.

Characters not named Human Smoke and Noob = normal characters ... and the hacker doesn't know what yet to do with her.

Some suggestions:

- Less recovery frames on her fireball
- 10% faster walk speed
- Quicker crouching LK and sweep
- I don't know if possible, but is there a way to reduce her hit/hurtbox? At least so that when she's getting run jabbed, she doesn't automatically stand up and sit down
- Slightly less recovery on a whiffed telestomp. Like a few frames less recovery.
- Make her crouching HK be able to anti-air like in MKT, I guess give it a bigger hitbox and make it quicker? Again don't know if possible.

Could Sheeva's earthquake be made an "air ok" move? Like it goes straight into the descending frames of her stomp if you do the input in midair? Not sure how much that would help her but it would be fun to have at your disposal at least.

But Sheeva with an air throw though. Imagine it. That's a glorious thought, especially with her current throw animation, it'd look so badass.
My mind is still overjoyed because of the glitch jab removal. It would make sense her 4 arms would make her good at throwing people left and right.

I say make him a UMK3 Chameleon - All the ninja moves and kombos, all the time. They all work too, except for he'd either have classic sub's 4 hit pop up, or reptile's 3 hit pop up. Those are the only two of all the moves and combos (I think) that's can't coexist in the same moveset.

But I imagine he'll just get a teleport punch, wavenet style.

Can Scorpion have is Mk Trilogy Teleport move? so we can ditch that game forever, unless of course the hacker plans to touch MK trilogy as well (PC version)

Meh, that would be lazy. I'm sure he has some ideas for him already.

It was already mentioned that the hacker is planning to give Scorpion forward TP.
