Your Top 5 Favorite Albums

AK Stormthegates

WOOLAY!!!!
No order:
LCD Soundsystem - This is it (Honestly all of their albums are good but this one has Home on it so...)
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
Mars Volta - Frances the Mute (Also hard to call. Anything pre-Octahedron is amazing.)
At the Drive-in - Relationship of Command
Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion

Too many honorable mentions to list lol. I absolutely love any form of music.

My top two are always constant:

1. Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins
2. Lateralus - Tool

The other 3 could be so many things from the same bands or Muse, Jane's Addiction, Joy Formidable, The Pixies, The Cars, Primus, NIN, Silversun Pickups, Rush, Queen, Cake, Soundgarden, maybe Nirvana, or a bunch of other bands. It changes a lot, depending on my mood.

As a vocalist I'll list my favorites, although you will see an obvious bias to a particular type. Also I'll keep it to fairly modern popular stuff (ie no opera or anything). No particular order this time.
Myles Kennedy
Bruce Dickinson
James LaBrie (I'm gonna get some shit for this)
Freddie Mercury
Ronnie James Dio
Russell Allen
Rob Halford
Matt Shadows (say what you will about his band, this guy can actually sing)
Jorn Lande
Adam Levine (once again say what you will about his band, but he can sing)
Geoff Tate (lost it over time though )
Axl Rose
Steve Perry
Steven Tyler
Lzzy Hale
Chris Cornell
Richie Kotzen
If I think of more I'll edit in.

you get no hate here for labrie, dude writes beautiful songs when he gets to in DT and his solo stuff is amazing. Elements of Persuasion almost made my list
Great album, yeah! Almost made mine too. I just think he's a very diverse singer which is rare in rock and metal, he had a great range and like you said, he writes solid stuff. Many people just can't stand his vibrato and stuff I guess. Or they hear recordings from his rougher years, which were hit and miss.
