Can you give me your advice on the cyrax mu? He gives me more trouble than kitana believe it or not. His airgrab beats the divekick and makes it tough to get around his bombs and net. The parry is also so dangerous because of point blank net
I used to have so much trouble with Cyrax but once you know how the MU works, it's not that bad at all.
My strats are this:
- If he his far away throwing bombs or nets, a well timed dive kick gets him all the time. That teaches the opponent to not spam that stuff.
- Also, you have bombs yourself so you can use them. I hold block and as soon as a net is coming my way, I start the input for the far bomb (while still holding block) so that when the net disintegrates, I release block & finish the input at the same time to throw a bomb.
- The main strat against cyrax is to keep pressuring him. Keep your jumping to a minimum because of his AA options and when you are in his face, don't let him go. Use your parry on reaction when he is about to start a combo (easier said than done online I know). If you manage to block a close up net, punish him (like this for example:
Up+4, med bomb, 2, 1, 1+2, dash, Up+4, Slide (~49%))
