First major / Summer Jam experience and many shoutouts

I guess it's only fair I write about my first major and give some shout outs as well.

First off, the drive was pretty relaxed, and took about 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to the hotel. Nice environment inside, lots of hype generated mostly from the screen playing USF4 and Mahvel. It was super nice to meet a lot of you who came up to me and introduced yourselves, making a brother feel welcome and less nervous at my first major.
I was in the first pool to play, so after I climbed my way out, I had about 6 hours to kill before top 16 matches, so I hung out a bit, made some gainz at the restaurant, had a couple beers and relaxed. I also got to watch some really hype matches, and supported all my homies.

As far as the rest of the tournament goes, I predicted I would get into the top 8, but failed miserably and got placed 9th. I'm both happy and sad because I played very strong, barely missed any inputs and even got to showcase some of my newest tech and grab set-ups. I only got nervous facing @SonicFox5000 and when I only had to touch @AK SaltFace once more to get into top 8 and lost it, I lost my morale and my hands started shaking a bit. Honestly, what can you expect? I am a pretty confident dude but knowing how close I was to achieving that placing and having it taken away from me totally screwed with my head. I'd like to congratulate both Saltface for beating me and also SonicFox for straight up taking the tourney.

Let me take it back a second though because I'd like to shout out @BigE first and foremost. @STORMS, buddy it was nice to meet you, I'll have that artwork for you soon. @DarthArma, I'm upset you didn't make top 8 but at least we both lost to saltface lol @KDZ congrats on your placing, you always play very well and I find it very difficult to beat that Superman @EMPEROR_JUPITER, Lance, Henry, @KingJamez12 and Grr, shouting you guys out for being awesome as usual and representing the Break crew. Shout out to @Indecisive for not shouting me out.

Shout out to @HoneyBee (crazy match between you and Jupiter) and his brother @RM_Biohazard for being kind and offering a room to me, as well as supporting me during every match and also being half asian. #hapas4life

Shout out to @Relaxedstate for being a cool dude, rooting for me, and putting his zod ballz all over people's faces. @Josh Owens for support @AL Eevee for support and clan rep @Fromundaman for that joker experience. @chemist4hire vegetarian brother

Shout out to @Zyphox @Mr Aquaman @Lilith @Empress_Fantasy @Mikemetroid @Ray Riazy @Cossner @7L for hitting up the bar with me and drinking! Aquaman, you will buy me a beer next time.

Shout out to @imblackjames and @Dr Morganstien for being supportive and super kind for letting me crash with them, since they were going to sleep and I needed to sleep for a wedding I had to go to on Sunday. And I brought this suit to SJ with me just in case I had to run straight to the wedding after top 8 if I made it.. AND that I would wear it during top 8

so that I would be the nicest dressed at SJ ever (sorry Grr)

Shout out to all my Lord clan members and friends who were watching stream spamming my phone getting super hype to see the main man try to get top 8 and shotgun some bastiches in the face. Including @Lord_BRISK @HuntR @Zen Zombieekiler @Frantastic23 @Ra Helios @AK XEN0M0RPH @Awkward Sloth @Yoaksssss @Captain Oxygen

Shout out to @JRosa21 for a good set. Shouts to @Clark Luthor for playing me and showing us some black adam Shout out to @Blackula for a fantastic set in which I was totally zoned in to the match.

Shoutout to @FOREVER EL1TE, it was his first major too and I saw him beastin' and his family is mad chill too! But that didn't save him from pushups after he challenged me to arm wrestling. He knows nothing of strength.

I wanted to stop iit here and thank everyone I either saw again or met for the first time. The main reason I came out was to make some donations to @Shock and @Sabin . However, it was also great to do some commentary.

And to those who were surprised to finally meet me, it was my pleasure and honor to meet you. @KDZ I remember when the last time i saw you was... Evo 2013 when you took Injustice.

I would love to come out again to another @BigE event sometime soon. Maybe NEC, ifnot then maybe Winter Brawl.

It was fun playing with you man! Definitely the best lobo I've played yet. Next major I'll make sure to have MY pad on me when we play so we can get an actual set in!

That was a super intense match you & I had in that battle for Top 8. Everyone literally stated how we had the best match of Top 16 & how everyone watching was on the edge of their seat.

Keep playing that well & Top 8 will come for you in no time man.

It was cool to see you again and hang. Saturday night at the bar was a trip, the twerking man had me rolling. You're a great player and a chill guy, keep it up. I will continue to support anyone going to weddings, and people who like to sleep.
