Dear @Casselman aside from the Kotal totems there is only two technical things i would love you to try on, here it goes:

  • Check if there is a Drop kick like in UMK3 game (combo-able NJK), we were suggesting back in february that the neutral jump kick should have been removed and replaced by the drop kick, since a lot of suggestions carried trough MKX we don't have an evidence of this move in particular, and we haven't seen Neutral Jump Kick or Drop kick so far in the game.
  • All characters jump attacks now do have air recovery animation (they pull their limbs if done too early now) and ground animation (possibly open for punish if their attack whiffs) if you got the time you could check those out, this in particular might look like nothing but its an actual huge game changing thing, and would be incorporated in the core game against jump strategies if its possible to whiff punish jump attacks before they recover.
In MK9 the punish window frame was -5, attacks from 15 startup to lower would punish this whiffs easely, is just to confirm if it was kept in the game against all normals or if it was completely removed, or if it stays like in mk9 only whiffed jump attacks are -5 on whiff.

1. What is the average speed of pokes in this game? 6-10 frames?
Or is it like Injustice where D1 pokes are 6frames and literally everything else is above 14frames for most characters....?

2. Could you take a cell phone image of the characters' command list frame data?

Judging by the fact that you can throw opponents that are in midair now, I actually wouldn't worry about this too much (hopefully).

- Kano Ball (horizontal) and Air Ball (downward diagonal) are performed with Back Forward A / X.
- Up Ball is performed with same command input as MK9.

We're both wrong :confused: I said it was bf2 lol

can you throw from juggle state?
It's been said by a few different people that have tried the game so far that you can. It wouldn't hurt to see if you still can in this build, but I don't know why they'd change it. I think it's even been seen in some videos before. Subzero grabs Scorpion right out of a juggle in the recent gameplay video from Pax.

@Casselman Will they bring back the INVISIBLE CURSOR option on the select screen to help deal with counterpicking? Also, IF so will this apply to you being able to pick your character AND Variation without the other player online or offline seeing it?

People already asked all the stuff on my mind (Kotal's totems, stuff about Ferra/Torr in general), so...can I get some stuff on Scorpy's dual swords variant? And what's the deal with his "Hellish Spear" as compared to regular spear?

The ball inputs have been released. Straight ball and air ball are bf3, I don't remember what up ball is exactly but it's in a thread by PND_Ketchup or Mustard I believe,

Some things I've noticed but can't tell because no one is blocking in any vids anywhere.

1. Can you complete strings then combo into specials/interactables like Injustice? (Ex. BATMAN 112~grapple combos where in mk9 you'd have to cancel into special before the entire string finishes [well, grounded strings anyway])

2. Kotal Kahn design descriptions please.

3. Anything more on Ferra/Torr , they've been neglected recently.

Hey guys! I just found out yesterday that MKX is on the show foor at FanExpo in Toronto Canada! My brother, friend Greg, another friend and myself are making the venture tomorrow to go and play! Three of the four of us are super serious and have been playing MK9 competitively.

If you ever watch Toronto Top Tier streams, it's Casselman, Vindrex and Fluri.

Anyways. We are hitting up MKX. Interviews etc is most likely way out if the question (if NRS is even there) but I will have my hands on the game and I am more than well-versed in mechanics so I will be able to really figure some details out, hopefully.

Any questions related to game mechanics, inputs, characters or balance, post it here! I'll keep it all in mind when I get my hands on the game!

All too easy...
1. Can you figure out how Sub Zero's ice armor move works in his Unbreakable stance? They make it sound like much shorter version of Doomsday's trait but I have to know.

2. See if Commando Kano's grabs work, which one's are true command grabs that can't be blocked, and which ones are command attacks with grab animations. If you can, find out which of Ferra/Torr's moves are true command grabs as well.

3. Like others have said, Kotal Kahn's totem descriptions would be very nice, as well as one special move in his War God stance called "buzzsaw" or "sawblade' or something like that, its the only one I haven't seen and could be the mising piece to making that variation much better.
