Regarding the News with 16 Bit and Pig...

I have to give @STORMS credit where it's due for reopening the thread. Thank you.

I think that the video of the pms via Pig was something that should not have happened. The topics intent was never to attempta boycott en masse and I only meant to convey my thoughts regarding the subject and get some discussion going. Big E and Shin have done great things for the overall scene and being disappointed with one decision doesn't mean I think the tournament should go down. The intent was to put down planks towards a new bridge, not throw them in the wood chipper. Moreover the conversation, while no doubt a vindication of sorts for those two and their frustration, was probably best kept not publicly released.

The precedent of banning players for being overly critical and demanding apologies is the biggest problem imo the Evo finalists line is more my frustration as a potential customer. As many mistakes they have made in this whole debacle, Bit and Pig have never stated that the tournament should be abandoned and I think that's an important thing to remember.

I write too much.
So I finally got through this entire thread, including the video...

In all honesty, I hope based on the last few replies that something gets accomplished.

The only thing I got out of that chat is that I want to attend all of Vandy's events now, because he seems to have a really good mentality and be out for the FGC in general.

for what its worth

a random nobody had a ride and room figured out. a random nobody was training hard for SJ. a random nobody totally lost his chub for any events or community.

carry on.
You still should attend.
I know at least one of my team mates has played you online and I would have loved to play you as well.

Also attending events allows us to compete and keep the game alive.

Finally, this event, regardless of drama, will persist. Injustice is but one of many games there, and a handful of people boycotting the event hurts our community more than it hurts their event.
