Just curious about oeoples opinion on this, which pair do you think was more problematic, pre 1.06 BA and SM or post 1.06 AM and MMH?
If it were possible for them to face each other, who would come out on top?

No one wants to bring up Batgirl? Technically pre patch she had an infinite, and bugs out the butt. Unhot fixed post patch she still had em.

If people are gonna bring up prepatch vs post patch characters can we bring up Post patch Bane vs Pre patch majority of the cast?

pre patch superman could take the whole cast, his pressure was amazing corner damage was absurd, super was instant death, lasers were faster, he honestly beat certain characters into the ground, like pre patch shazam had no chance against prepatch supes. Black adam's backdash might as well have been aquaman's trait because he got out of situations free, low lightning hit you even if you didn't touch it, his damage was well into the 50s and i'm talking about his bnbs were in the 50s not even the advance stuff, and divekick put every other special in the game to shame. these 2 were unstoppable.

Pre-patch Superman/Black Adam easily. Superman was insane. Imagine modern Superman players using their current match up knowledge and skill back then. I mean in that time period there was seriously a debate on if Superman's zoning was good or not.

I'm just thinking in terms of your comparison, and how stupid his zoning really was... He lost 33% chip, meter built and I think overall damage was reduced as well. Insane! Not to mention I believe some of his combo damage has been scaled as well.

On topic though Superman. You started out in range of F23 putting you at immediate disadvantage no matter the gameplan on defense straight out the gate.

I don't think some of the rest of the cast's struggle, currently, against MMH and Aqua can compare to the handicap Adam and Supes put on the ENTIRE cast, pre-Oct. patch.

Do you think pre-patch Adam gives a shit about Aqua's footsies or Orbs or OH Teleport? His forward dash could probably catch MMH to grab if he back dashed after a Tele.
Do you think pre-patch Supes gives a shit? Pre-patch F23 seems like it could be the only full-combo punish for OH Teleport. Haha
