What I like to do is alternate between high and low, though once your opponent catches on it becomes pretty useless. If you watched XBlades vs Pig @EVO, he would delay his jump by doing airfireballs, which works somewhat well, but jumping is pretty risky in the first place.

Once you do get in (if) , I'd personally try get him to break first, as stated above, Kenshi is very meter dependent. Abuse the sh8t out of 2, even when his duck blocking it hits. Using b31 works pretty good to, it's onlt -1, and can confuse your opponent when they don't see the whole string,(I've also had people block high after b31, probably due to tendencies) Try using under used strings as well, such as f4, b2b3, f24 etc. You can cancel into EX Lowfireball after all these strings.
He really does need to rely on chip and unpredictable pressure. He just doesn't have the frame traps like JC.

Thats very similar to how i play him. And those strings arent under used by me. Lol. I use them constantly. My Kang is...weird looking. Although i tend to get cookie cutter when im in trouble. Its a big flaw of mine.

But yes, couldnt agree more. I think they key in this matchup is to make the kenshi player really concerned over whether he can use his armor or not. Its certainly a rough matchup, probably his worst, but i dont play any other characters who have it any better with kenshi, so picking it apart frame by frame with liu is what its going to be.

I use F24... but I always fireball or ex fireball after lol. Good to know I can mix it up.

But 334? How do you use it? I never touch that string. lol

A little trick I like to do is... F121 bicycle kick. A lot of people only expect F12 and the last 1 sends them flying and the bicycle kick keeps them close. OR people block the F121 and get hit by the bicycle kick.

Sure sometimes you get blocked, but rarely punished b/c people are like... WTF?! lol

If you mix it up with F12 F121 and F121 Bicycle kick... it works more than once b/c they aren't sure.

I love when the F121 hits b/c the bicycle kick puts you right next to them again for pressure. Try it out sometime. If you get blown up... oh well... you learned something not to do. haha

334 is neutral and gives you pushback unlike most of his strings. I like it after a hit f3 or a hit b31. Since it actually gives pushback you can backstep and whiff punish pokes with b312. Or, what happens more often rhan not, they block 33 and eat the 4. Free damage plus you can zone.

I end my bnbs sometimes with f12, f121 whiff bicycle kick. Gimmicky. I think i got it from XBlades if my memory works. I do use it against kenshi to stay close. Never tried it just during pressure. Seems risky. Will try tonight at casuals. With breaker in hand.
