Opponent stance affecting sheeva combo.

Hi guys.
Dunno if this was posted before, but I think sheeva's Quad Toss into Grab and Punch combo connects only 50% of the time. The culprit is probably the stance of both players. That and poor design ofcourse. I seriously dont believe stances ought to affect combo viability. Please fix the hitboxes so the combo works regardless of battle stance. Who is with me???

You need to be facing opposite sides. In the air, e.g off a low grab or a NJP it can be done on anyone regardless of stance besides the females. It can be done in any stance in the corner.

I would like if this was fixed yes. It gets awkward when you're unsure if you need to be doing a Fireball or a GNP in the almost-corner.

You can get a 12B1 212F1 BF3 string I believe. I haven't bothered trying it off a low grab since it would probably do less damage compared to B21+2 BF3, but I know off an AA uppercut in the corner you can get the above combo.

Midscreen you get AA dash D1 BF3 for 29% under certain circumstances.

back against the corner: lowgrab, NJP, slight dash f+4, d+1, 2,1,2,f+1~bf+3 50%
corner combo: 1,2,b+1, NJP, slight dash f+4, d+1, 2,1,2,f+1~bf+3 43%
both no meter

I know this is a thread exclusively for sheeva but i had to add this (in case some people didnt know). with kung lao as a partner 1 bar combo

b2, 1+2, assist from kung lao, b2, 1+2, df1 is 54%

and if you start that with the low grab i think it makes it 67%

At this point, we're grateful someone even posts on this board. It's as if Sheeva is dead and no one plays her anymore. Yes, that is a good combo for tag. It pretty much works with any character that can refloat after the first launch, such as Cyrax

I recently picked up Sheeva a few months ago and I haven't looked back...she is awesome. Btw, I watched your matches at that tournament...I believe you played GuamoKun's CSZ...very good man...I was rooting for you!!

it actually doesnt work with cyrax his bomb doesnt connect with the opponent you can do it with kitana but only once and i did find kung lao does the most damage

Yes, that was me. I didn't do well that tournament. I was so salty I left before the grand finals. I've been forcing myself to watch that replay over and over again to figure out how to improve my game.

This so puts my Sheeva combos to shame! I didn't know her Low Grab could be used in this manner! I gotta experiment with this, this is godlike stuff!

Thanks. Yeah, it's great for juggles near the wall. Midscreen though, I haven't found much uses for yet. :eek:

Mid screen, that's all she really has. I think sometimes you can get dash 1/2/4 BF3 but you'd have to be close to the ground and they'd have to be high up.

In the corner air to air JP 12B1 212F1 BF3. I think you can also do air to air JP NJP B21+2 BF3. ღ

a project i made when i was od on sheeva lol, such underplayed, mk community please get more sheevas, gga jeremiah cant be the only one lol, but i have seen some good ones. and gga jeremiah is by far amazing. anyway, hope you guys like the project, and enjoy some TOOL as well. and this was my best before ggas find.

ive been playing around with sheevas corner combos lately trying to find one that gives high damage without meter. clearly i wasnt thinking to add a uppercut into the mix. lol. Good stuff in that video!

Speaking of Sheeva everytime I was in a ranked match it would say Opponent found but it didnt show the player's PSN and everytime I fought that particular person he would always pick Sheeva.
