Would love to read the whole thread, but I think it's already at 200+ posts. On the topic of war, I don't think any of the bigger countries are crazy enough to start a direct conflict with the U.S. I'm leaving conspiracy theories about weaponry not known to the public out of this, but we (the U.S.) could literally blow any country off the map. Like, no more anything Caesar salting Carthage style. Having said that, North Korea is exactly the kind of crazy to kick off something like a WWIII. Trade sanctions Iran, Cuba, and (not sure where else, forgive me) had an effect: the impacted countries relaxed on some of the more extreme, blow you up attitudes (mostly referring to Iran). Korea? Nope. I'm more concerned with them (also aiming at an internship to South Korea, bit of a danger junkie).

About the Gaza\Israel thing, is it horrible? Yes (last I heard, like 700+ killed Gaza side, 30+ Israel numbers are maybe a weak old). Should we stop it? Yes. Should we all blow ourselves up over 2 (and more outside of this big conflict) tiny countries full of religious crazies? No so sure (phrasing is biased there).

And on Russia\Ukraine, did anyone besides the U.S. actually do or say anything? Legitimate question, didn't really follow much after the capital was on fire

I think the technology argument can be made for other countries outside of the U.S. I've been bitching about people staring at their phones for years now. No one cares about human interaction anymore. It's something this generation lacks. I was at a restaurant the other day and the table beside mine was full of teenagers and all of them were staring/playing with their phones. Hardly any words were said. Wanna see a real life zombie? Walk outside.

Back when I had a girlfriend :(, we saw this shit all the time. We could play spot the other couples at the restaurant not talking to each other and that shouldn't be a thing

Off the top of my head, after 10 + years, casualties on Israel side is 28. Maybe a thousand Palestinian deaths . I hope Obama says something about it finally.

So because of a group(NRA) and their supporters America is bad? Not everyone in the U.S. shares the same view lol. Maybe you should be anti NRA instead of anti America?

The US must get a ton of resources back in exchange for their immense aid to several countries in the continent for Africa, a land known for its immense wealth. One of the best things that Bush did was help combat AIDS in Africa. Boy did he hit the jackpot on that one.

I'm assuming you are not American. So you probably wouldn't remember the video the NRA did after Sandy Hook (elementary school shooting a couple of years ago) calling out Obama for having armed guards for his two young daughters and not armed guards in every building in America. They caught major heat for that, the majority would call them a fucking embarrassment to this country. You know we have more than inbred hicks here, right? Just so happens that the NRA are the voice for the inbred hicks

Last time I checked Bushy was no longer in office and carries no significant weight. A lot of people believe he is helping Africa to overshadow his presidential term. If he was still president and did this it would be a different story. I'm not saying the U.S. doesn't do certain things to be kind...I'm saying we have allies to help in war time for a reason.

;_; how do i write it off clearly enough for you guys.

A reality like NRA has a good following in USA because a decent to good portion on americans actually dig what NRA says and this is not a thing in other countries ( even less developped ones ).

Of freakin course i'm against NRA thinking of guns on the same level of education , healthcare and so on.

I'm not trying to put stereotypes on you guys for every bad thing USA has. A very good amount of people that happen to live in the US are reasonable.

Does it come off that way because i've (jokingly) used an hashtag on a forum?Now i'm seriously wondering about that lol
