I saw the match against Cat; that's fine. You must have improved the iafb game because I was going based off of a few of the matches I saw for your Liu where it didn't look like you had them as low as other Lius I've seen. I wasn't saying your Liu wasn't top five lol.

This thread is making me sick too.

Picked Kenshi because of how scrubby and braindead the character is. Not everyone can just pick up Kabal, most pocket Kabal were bad and maybe only 5 ppl can play the character at a decent level.

Cyrax at least can be rushed down by some characters, can have some of his combos broke. Yeah you need to save meter to just break the characters combos but he's not invincible.

Kenshi is beyond dumb when he can keep a ton of characters full screen for free.

I opened this thread and saw "Choose: Kenshi Cyrax Kabal" and ran like the wind.

And IDC if kenshi struggles in one or two matchups when kabal and cyrax don't because nobody else in the game has that many 7-3s 8-2s and even 9-1s

You can't really stress what Kabal could've been if we had larger resources and then tip-toe around larger resources helping us dissect Kabal's holes. As it is, it took us, what, 2 years just to notice how many more characters could punish the ground saw?

Again, Kabal not having any disadvantage matchups made sense due to the sheer quantity of tools he has to cover himself in almost every situation, and therefore in no constant state of disadvantage in any matchup, whatever triggered the step-up to Kabal winning all of his matchups was never really adequately explained.

This is only for his main 3 specials though:

It takes 7 blocked TK Flurries to build 1 bar of meter. 14.28% per blocked.

It takes 8 blocked TK slashes to build 1 bar of meter. 12.5% per blocked.

It takes 9 blocked barges to build 1 bar of meter. 11.1% per blocked.

If you block one of each of these special moves trying to get in on Kenshi he will have built a minimum of 37.78% of one bar.

His meter building is pretty damn good, definitely not the best in the game, but very good.

If my memory serves me correctly, this sounds about right, but most players are usually way off when they attempt to recall where Kenshi's meter build comes from in a matchup, lol. I suppose misguided is a better word to than exaggerated.

Story of this thread's life.

Cyrax is broken, nearly 100% combos, D4 that is +16 on hit, ghost hitbox on 12 strings that hits unintentionally against grossups, command grab that leads to safe jump.

Everybody makes mistakes, in the end of the day cyrax will still kill you on a single mistake, even if you are convincigly dealing with him the whole round, the moment he touches you its over.

Kabal is OP because his tools allows him to control the game like almost all the time around.

I voted for Cyrax, i'm not too concerned with Kenshi because my character can find him and put him on unfavorable places, Cyrax is just retarded.

If I had to pick something for people to do in mk, I'd say just play the game. yes, I know, there is a lot wrong, but that shouldn't kill the game for you. if kabal is really the total top 8, kills everyone and everything in the game why didn't every kabal place well? why did cyrax win evo? it seems like all people did was go "fuck Reo, fuck kabal, and fuck this game."

I think if we all just started playing the game again and not worry and complained we would all enjoy it as we did.
