Who is the most balanced character in this game?

I'm gonna regret making this thread. But oh well its a snooze fest.

My criteria for this a character who doesn't really abuse broken things but isn't really a shitter.
So they have everything but doesn't really have a overpowering part of their game

I say Harley.
She doesn't really dominate.
Her zoning is good but you have to work so hard to get damage. She builds good meter but its not raven like. She does good damage but its not wonder woman and she has to take risk. She has a 50/50 but the OH is reactable. She has a good corner game but its not doomsday. She has a lot of plus frames but what's the point in this game without a 50/50. Yes this is a way to complain about how not broken Harley is ;)

So who do y'all think it is?

Totally agree on Harley.

I would unbiasedly nominate WW as one too. She does great damage, pain in the ass oki game, plus frames and decent range(I say decent because lbsh, just cuz b2 has great range, doesn't automatically mean she her entire moveset carries that trait *cough*Aquaderp, MMH, Bane, etc.*cough*). But all these things aside, she can't FORCE you to respect her unless on the right read, or a d12 stagger ON HIT. All of her go-to tools, on block or even on hit still don't guarantee anything after and to top it off, she has no full screen projectiles. IADM has to be on the frame to be safe or else she eats a combo punish, and tiaras have to be done at the right moment too or else even on hit, she can get punished.

Raven. She's never, if not barely, been touched by patches because there's nothing about her that's really broken.

And Laos, Harley doesn't require meter for bnbs and she does have a decent overhead/low mixup in b2/f2. Her gunshots are + on block and 112 is +21 it's like practically a frametrap. Corner damage is insanely good and also requires no meter. Don't even start :DOGE

All semi-true lol. You really shouldn't ever get hit with gunshots on block unless you're rushing in and/or she gimmicks you into blocking since they're sky-high high hits. ANd even that, it's like +3, lbsh, what can she possibly do fullscreen away with that? She CAN check you if its on hit, with another gunshot, but you're still eating like 5% tops ever. F2 is gimmicky, and 112 can be interrupted depending on the character. Bnb wise, she doesn't need meter so to speak, but if she has to set you up to try to open up the character again, she will need to spend it

Raven is pretty well balanced but iI can argue she's a anti Zoner that's zones great. She's probably a top 5 whiff punisher due to her walk speed.

And Harley needs meter to do damage full screen. Mb cupcake do more chip than a gunshot on hit:DOGE

NW easy. Pretty much 5-5 down the line, except losing to zoning.

GL blows up quite a few, but hes quite fair.

DS has a few too many lopsided match ups to be the most fair.

Raven....an anti-zoner? Her zoning's only good in trait and that doesn't last particularly long. If she didn't need patched there's clearly nothing overpowering about her

Harley shouldn't be full screen if she has tools like guns and cupcakes and silly slide :p

NW isn't balanced. The character is buggy and has way worse mus than DS.

Who does DS even get bodied by?

Ehhh... I used to think so but remember playing Harold at final round and Jim at GGA and talking about the matchup with slips after.

I would say it's a 6-4 for flash but not a 7-3 like I initially thought.

On topic though, I want to say DS but then I think of f3/j3/his jump arc/his corner game/ and how easily he makes players lose composure. I think he's in the conversation. Maybe not the most balanced.
