Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Leaks Shazam?

Is The Rock going to play Shazam or Black Adam?

In the link, Dwayne speaks on his relations to DC and WB for films. He confirms that a character will be announced soon, he is playing said character, and "He's as strong as Superman, and it isn't Green Lantern by the way. Just say the word." I'm thinking he's actually going to play Black Adam, that fits his looks better. But his personality and body language are perfect for Shazam. What do you guys think?

That's awesome. I hope he plays black Adam but its hard to see him as a villain. He could be Shazam but his face doesn't quite look right for that unless they give him the white hood and you only see his lower half of his face. Either way, the rock is the people's champ

With a personality like his, and how much presence he brings on screen, I can't see Martian. Martian is a stoic defender, and I don't think he'd pull off a quiet insightful alien too well. Lobo is a possibility, he's certainly got the body for it.

I say martian because i think he has the voice for it and he naturally looks like someone mmh would impersonate

I say lobo because the phrase "throw down" sounds like something lobo would say

It's going to be Shazam! They already announced a Shazam movie coming in 2 years. And his "just say the word" at the end could not be more obvious. lol He sounds really excited about it.

I know, they're amazing. The eyes, the ears, the facial expression, the costume detail, etc. If some guy can spend an hour in photoshop and come up with that, imagine what Hollywood can do with a multi million dollar budget.

Only thing I can 100% for sure say without being confirmed - he is playing Black Adam.

And TBH I couldn't think of anyone better suited. He's got the look, skin complexion, and he definitely doesnt need to bulk up for the role.

Even though he might look more like Black Adam no one will ever convince me that the Rock wouldn't make a better Captain Marvel. I've never thought he comfortable embodied the role of a brooding anti hero and his attempts to sound dark have always felt incredibly forced. On the flip side, he's actually demonstrated a pretty surprisingly natural sense of comedic timing and I could very easily see him playing a young kid trapped in a super heroes body.

His looks definitely suit Black Adam more, but his personality is totally suited to Billy. Honestly I'd be happy either way.
