I think Sonicfox, Theo, Jupiter and maybe 16-bit are more or less non-debatable (16-bit may be the most consistent placer in the community right now along with SonicFox and Theo, but he has yet to actually win a major). After that though there are a lot of contenders.
I mean, we have FK, who has made like a bajillion top 8s.
We have Whiteboi and Noobe who have both had immense success.
Tyrant has been a fairly constant placer despite playing Grundy. Same to Chris G and his arrow, who even now can still make top 8s.
KDZ won the last EVO, which is a huge accomplishment, and has won/placed multiple times since then.
We have the DJT brothers, where at least one placed top 8 at EVO two years in a row.
PPJ, who has won a national and placed top 8 at EVO.
Wound who has won majors, but hasn't had as much success in recent times.
DarthArma is a beast, but he has yet to win a major as well.
Max, as godlike as he is, has less credentials than the other two GGA players on this list, but at the same time he beats them often in their locals.
HoneyBee, Zyphox and I think Harold all have several top 8s, but none of them have won majors if I remember correctly.
Same applies to FilipinoMan, who has made top 8 multiple times, but still hasn't won majors. He does bring hype though.
I think Pig might become one of the non-debateable top 10s though if he continues with the momentum he's had lately. Before EVO his resume was kind of lacking compared to some of the other top players. After EVO he has a solid 2nd place at the biggest tournament there is, but at the same time he has yet to actually win a major, so does that put him below someone like PPJ, who has won a major AND placed top 8 at EVO?
Honestly, there are too many good players to put into a top 10 list, and beyond what is at this moment the top 4, it's really hard to say.
