Would you like MKX to have a Trials mode ?

Regarding the whole i like figuring out stuff myself response, I would answer that within 2 days maximum, people on forums like this one come up with stuff that is considered BnB or optimum usually. I like discovering things for myself as well but if say i came up with a 30% and someone else came up with a 40% i would always use the 40% because it is the more effective option. The fact that you come to TYM means that you are most likely to be like me in that regard as well.

That is an efficient combo too though
Yeah, but the funny thing is, my priority is pulling off flashy stuff more so than winning haha. I feel a lot better with landing a clean, impressive combo and losing than I do with zoning safely and winning. Guess I'm not tournament material haha.

I live in an apartment complex with think walls.
This made my morning.

Plus, the stick is annoyingly loud making it impossible to use late at night without my neighbors complaining.
I remember certain Soul Calibur player complaining about that. He solved the issue by wrapping the stick itself with thick thread I think.
He however did that not because of neighbours complaining but because noises were the reason people he played offline with were ducking every single command throw he tried to pull off lol.
Well, guess stuff like ↓↑↓↑←→→→ B+G must be really noisy :p

Challenge Tower was pretty much a trial mode, more or less. But I woundnt mind if they added it.
Not really.

At no point in actual gameplay do I ever lose my limbs or throw my head at my opponent. Challenge Tower is not fun IN ANY WAY, and I pray they get rid of it. STAR Labs was actually even worse. I hated playing that mode. It felt like work more than a game. I don't want to be avoiding lasers with a fucking cat when I could be playing the ACTUAL GAME. It's a complete waste of time.

I've been saying MK needs a Street Fighter/Marvel-like combo trial mode for quite some time now. It's actually fun and helps you learn how combos work for each character. It's a great way to get a feeling of how each character plays and who fits best with your playstyle.

Add combo trial mode to MKX, please NRS.

Waifu, Peacock, Cutie Patootie,...
KOF trial mode made me shit my pant, it's way more difficult than SF4's. just saying.
and lol @do 1 frame link and you can body Daigo.
so i guess if you are a combo master that means you can beat top players.

I agree. The challenge tower was 90% annoying nonsense. While I was playing it I was just wishing it was over so I can move on and play the actual game. I'm a completionist so I reluctantly did it anyway.

There were a few fun ones though. Ermac vs the 3 Goro's was enjoyable.

The ones that involved actually PLAYING MORTAL KOMBAT were fun, I agree.

There's definitely a way to make Challenge Tower enjoyable. I would suggest having a challenge where you have to complete a certain combo to finish it, a few where you have to anti-air someone a certain amount of times, tech 3 throws....things of that nature. Do it for all characters and have every challenge be something that is PART OF ACTUAL GAMEPLAY. Sort of like Dojo mode in KI (which is incredible, but only for Jago) but do it for every character in the game.

- Combo challenges
- Anti-air challenges
- Throw tech challenges
- Learning how armored moves work
- Air to air attacks

You get the idea. Like you said, I'm also a completionist, so I too feel the need to go through this shit. When I'm sitting there trying to throw my fucking head at someone to do damage it's not fun, it's just frustrating.
