Yes, but did the streams you donated to get over 140,000 views in less than a week? Because these two videos combined did. And yes,they do need need Max's word of mouth to promote the game. Max can bring in people from outside the NRS scene to fuck with the game. Look at what he did with KI.

If it's so iconic, then how come capcom fighters consistently get more numbers, whether it's stream monsters or entrants, than NRS games? Your elitism is pathetic and if you would so kindly STFU

MK has only been considered a competitive fighter in the FGC since 2011. Capcom games have been there forever dude. Stupid point so you stfu

Considering the life he pumped into marvel with his assist me videos and how many views those get you obviously don't realize his influence, so I'm going to keep talking because I'm not a dumbass when it comes to this stuff and the importance he can bring to our game and other youtubers can bring. Hell, I wouldn't be part of this scene if I wasn't exposed to IGAU through YouTube. Get a grip son having Max is a big plus for MKX

Irrelevant to MK but he brought thousands of views promoting it, not only to MK players, but also Capcom players, which can overall increase their interest in playing the game. So how exactly is that irrelevant ? What exactly can you do? Can you bring in non NRS players to the game like he can? No, you can't.

You act like the MK series is suppose to be exclusive to you and who you approve of, yet last I checked MK sold well because of word of mouth and good advertising. You may not care for Maxamillion, but his subscribers sure do and I and can say that if he is excited about this game and supports it, this community will grow tremendously. Most the FGC have no idea who Tom Brady, REO, Cd Jr, and PL are, nor do they care. Its kind of sad you sit here and troll and whine because someone outside the community shows interest in one of our games and the entire thread has sided against you. Yet you continue to think that your just so right in every way. You seem to think that everyone is suppose to agree with you because you spoke. Now please for the sake of all those who actually give a damn and go away. So you have an opinion, well doesn't mean any of us agree with and just like assholes we all have an opinion.

What's a Smarrgasm?
Max is helping to show this game off to people in the competitive community that may not normally give it a chance. Hes also doing detailed breakdowns which a lot of people around here enjoy since its pretty much all we will get at this point.

There is no question that with Max's following that more people will give the game a chance and possibly play it competitively making our community grow and be more healthy which we will always need seeing as usually after a year our games begin to fall off.

Please stop trying to ruin that for those of us that want a strong healthy competitive community because of your ridiculous biased opinions that have no basis in logic other than "hey i dont like this guy cause he didnt like this game i did".

I'm cool with Max when he knows what he is talking about. So far he really does well at all Capcom's stuff and he did show he can do nice combos and play Injustice and MK. Overall, I like the guy. I just dont agree with his recent Smash stuff where they tried to play off some stuff from the demo as if they really were Smashers where their Project M play and there own comments made it pretty clear they were completely out of their element.

I think Max can do MK X though. I think he's good, and genuinely tries to support the entire fighting game scene as a whole in all games honestly. He wants to see more games made...I just wish he knew that in the case of Smash him having a channel doesn't qualify him as an expert at "every" brand of fighting game though. However, for NRS stuff he's shown he is pretty decent and gets it when they put out a title he wants to go in on. Last time MK9 sort of came out competing with things he had waited years for though...it wasn't going to get played for that reason by him IMO.

However, as I said he's shown he can play MK9 and do Injustice stuff and I think he'll be good with MK X. He's more in his element of traditional fighters with this one. He may resort to clickbait a lot because its either produce content even during dry spells or go broke, but he really can play these games.

Why don't we wait for the guy to actually make mistakes on MK X before we call him out or get upset at him? Right now he's doing nothing but good here.

He may be diehard Capcom but remember, I also didn't support MK9 at first. I was quite vocally just repeating the dogshit that the Capcom community was teaching me, but after giving it a shot I saw all they wanted to speak of were its flaws and that there was AMPLE good in the game they failed to praise. I apologized, called my community out on it, and decided never to just take someone's word in the FGC for this shit again simply because they'd been around longer than me and had taught me how to play some other game.

Max is fine. He actually gets this type of game. It'll be good. He just needs to stop pretending he gets Smash is my only beef with him though...

Oh I didn't see him stab himself. I saw the totem and the sun beam, so I thought those shortly buff his damage like Bane's Level 3 Venom.\

EDIT: Now that I think of it, the damage he took vs the damage he dealt was a damn good trade off.

What does that have to do with the issue at hand? Military is my personal/professional life, and fighting games are my hobby. I do respect the fact that your a vet. I completed my first overseas tour not too long ago.

But I digress. My issue is that I want to hear feedback from the top dogs in our community, not Max who isn't a factor in our community. Nothing against Max personally but what I said is fact. People keep saying "exposure" but it's getting plenty of that. Not to mention all the capcom sites are backing MKX.

I don't care about who doesn't share like opinions. The bandwagon never lasts forever.

Well welcome home soldier you do have my respect and thank you for your service!

My point is your being way too judgmental on Max and seem to have missed what many were saying. Sure our community top dogs should come out and say something and give an opinion, but they are only relevant here on TYM. The fact that Capcom players are taking an actual interest is a big deal , considering even in the MK9 days that community cared nothing for our game and all they did was bash it. You have been so negative towards this man taking interest on here that your opinions were sounding like you just hat the guy and that you feel MK should only be for those who have been long time fans.

Again I am glad you are home safely after your first overseas tour.

Thank you sir, I really appreciate it!

I have nothing against Max, I watched his KI videos hardbody. I know that he'll bring in the bandwagon of players that bashed MK9 from jump street. I'd rather keep a small community of players passionate about MK than a large community of people who don't give a damn.
