Drahmin unlikely to make it in to Mortal Kombat X roster, says Boon

Drahmin looked cool as hell to me with the roasted flesh and tribal mask. They doomed him with the design though (the flies). I would've loved to see him make a return.

To all you Drahmin haters out there, do yourselves a favor and go re-read his backstory from MKDA. His backstory alone justifies his return in MKX, and I'm pretty sure they could update and make him relevant gameplay-wise. With his mask on he could have one type of fighting style, and without his mask he could be like the ultimate rushdown character since his story basically describes him as a raving lunatic without it. AND since MKx is going to have multiple iterations of each character anyway, multi-style Drahmin justamakes sense!

I can dig Bo Rai Cho and Jinko, the rest were garbage. Who fights with 10 foot flags mounted to his back? He looked like a ghetto Raiden.

90 percent of the characters created post MK4 were trash. We should be thankful they aren't adding them.

I like Drahmin too but they would have to completely rewrite the code to be able to support asymmetrical fighting styles.

Cause lets face it, him having a club on each hand would look stupid as hell

Of all the bs characters after UMK3, I thought Drahmin was one of the cooler ones.

I absolutely hate the "no pointless characters" argument because it holds no water here.


The series has been rebooted, and it has a new art style.

If he was put in, not only would he look better than before(still disgusting, but that's the goal), but he would be given a better and more detailed story to fit into this game's story mode, as well as an arcade mode ending for even more story.

Instead people want deep and interesting characters such as SuBoob-Zero and Drunk Pukeman :^)

haha you actually liked Mokap huh? From a gameplay perspective he's alright, I just feel since MK's story is do deep now I can't picture him in it lol. Yeah, Jarek, Reiko and Tanya etc I wasn't too fond of. Fujin, Shinnok however are awesome. I would definitely like to see Dairou, Shujinko and Bo again though.

Drahmin was 2000's Baraka, ofc ppl care. It's a shame though but at least they can include President again

I don't want Meat or Drahmin. Unless they did a MK Trilogy type-roster with the awesome gameplay elements of the MK9. I'd go for that.

Drahmin might be my favorite character in MK. He's a cool dude. If he does make it in this upcoming title I will main him. I really don't understand all the hate for this character.
