Very well put. That's the gist of it. It was also a reference to the attraction players have toward the series, and where we would or wouldn't be without it. This is supposed to be the most brutal one yet. So let's hope it lives up to the standard we envision it being in our minds.

Hahaha, yep. It can be a two fold thing. Just depends on how one deals with anger and raw emotion in general. I like Mortal Kombat not just for the gameplay but for it's dark presentation. It's the best of both worlds.

Liking the gore of a game like Mortal Kombat or a tv series like Spartacus isn't necessarily indicative of anything about a person IMO. All kinds of people (mostly guys though) like that stuff. So, you don't need to feel ashamed or think that there's anything wrong with you if you like that.

Mortal Kombat has always been a dark and violent game. That's what separates it from other games. And humans instinctively crave violence to an extent. Just look at ancient Rome and the coliseum. We like seeing violence every now and again
