i was giving myles a taste of his own idiotic logic. according to him any char is 5-5 with mmh because you just have to out smart the opponent with up close tools listed

I definitely agree ppl shouldn't do that, optimism and pessimism arent something we should fill da forums with. We should be just stating facts about characters like advantages and disadvantages in a matchup instead , numbers always lead to drama.

murk and chongo say its in mmh favor on stages with interactables
mmh is considered one of aquamans more difficult match ups
lex luthor players think its even or could be in mmh on stages like ferris
flash players like zyphox say its even but one of flashes more difficult even match ups

i think you should stop trying to aid the downplay mmh campaigners while randomly throwing around the "he's not kabal" card when no one is saying that

Yeah mmh has some 5-5s but that doesnt mean the matchups are completely even. He still holds a slight adv in most of the 5-5s they just not bad enough to be called 6-4s.imo his worst matchups are flash/ batgirl/lex/batman/doomsday. Which he still holds a slight adv on 5.2/4.8 but since matchups arent broken down that accurately they just called 5-5. Not having 1 true 4-6 is a big deal to me though. Isnt disagreeing and discussing the reason for these threads. Some people get salty when they realize how much better martian is than their character. Lol

I labeled it as 5.5-4.5 because as you said, it is 5-5 for now but when (if) MMHs start punishing EVERY FTD AM is in trouble

Having no 4-6s isn't ideal but it's honestly the way nearly every fighting game is, and doesn't ruin the game in any way imo. Of the fighting games I've played quasi seriously there's always been a character with nothing worse than a 5-5. Arguably, in SF4 vanilla Sagat and Akuma have nothing worse than a 5-5 (and that's vs each other... some may disagree and say that Akuma's favor but that still leaves one character w no 4-6s). In Melee (SSBM), fox has nothing worse than a 5-5. And in Marvel Morrigan/Doom/Vergil has nothing worse than a 5-5. And those games have all had long/fruitful lives. So no need for the doom and gloom/excessive whining imo.

God, you are the biggest hypocrite. You bug me about quoting something from months ago, then proceed to cite something that also happened months ago, where Forever King listed the batman matchup as 6-4.
I'm not going to bother with this anymore, as it is clear you won't accept the opinions of others and manipulate what they said to favor your side.

And where do I get my MMH experience from? Jupiter from time to time, and Balding, among other lesser-known players on Xbox

Well you could just ask me instead of finding stuff lol. I think lex-mmh is even. Reo's chart was him hella up playing everything. Lex can beat him in interactable control or vice versa regardless of the stage, it just depends how the match goes. He has easy combo otgs but I have better control in open space.
