Death, Carcass, Slayer, Napalm Death, Meshuggah, Edge of Sanity, Mayhem, Darkthrone, Testament, Bloodbath, Deicide, Toxic Holocaust, old school Sepultura, etc.

The 80's were the golden age of music that created a lot of great things in music amd led to bands becoming Gods and influencing others.

I like garage music mostly low-fi kinda stuff, psychedelic, surf. Mostly underground genres of rock. Favorite band though is the Black Lips. Atlanta represent!

Hard to say. Metal I guess. However I grew up lovin Grunge and still love it. I think one day Grunge will make a huge comeback.

The song you had seems more like a downtempo remix of a Flying Lotus song.

Flying Lotus is pretty awesome. I'd say most of his music is a combination of trip hop, downtempo, and IDM, with some electronica.

You should check out his album Cosmogramma, see if you like that, and go from there.

If you like Flying Lotus you should check out Actress as well, similar kind of music.

For downtempo check out Bonobo or Royksopp.
