this mu looks to have a lot of downplaying.

there is no way superman is even. it's very hard to open up mmh in the neutral game and that's just with orbs. put in trait, teleports, and instant air dashes and it becomes a mess. it's also worse how mmh gets to control all interactables. this match is 6-4 mmh at best.

how are deathstroke, raven, and senistro 5-5 when they can't zone without being risked of eating 40% from a teleport into mmh's uber knockdown game?
vs deathstroke and raven MMH can't zone for free either

Its all about the stage. I agree with this.
i made a thread before asking who countered mmh. the lex players said its even and mmh wins on stages with interactables. why jupiter has it as losing is highly questionable. he's known to downplay in stream chats but then again he doesn't travel much so his opinion could be lack of exp for some matches on his part.

catwoman going even with mmh has to be a bill. especially with all of those interactables he can use over her

mmh gets a tap on the wrist when hes counter zoned by raven and ds. raven and ds lose almost half their life and then are put in a mmh's uber knock down game that could lead to a whole life bar lost situation. this is also not including the free 22% damage he gets off interactable at the end of combos into uber oki game
Regardless, they both sit at a stalemate from fullscreen, also MMH's is only on a read if he starts jumping.

Also 99% of the time Raven can check MMH with Soul Crush, he has to be perfectly at the top of his jump to avoid it, and if she waits just a second longer she will anti air him with it.

I think you are overreacting to MMH a bit, he's very very good, but it's not like he can just yolo teleport all day for free and rape zoners (try that on raven and he'll eat 40% free every time)

also he beats catwoman just walk back and wait for trait 3 anti air all her jump ins.
and also mmh controls the screen she cant jump in fear of overhead .
she also has nothing that reaches him post OHtele so he can jump back or back dash .
she has to take way more risks than he does.

i'm not saying mmh just needs to yolo spam teleport. i'm saying the threat of teleport forces them to play overly defensive or they could potentially lose a life bar. they also can't use interactables much due to teleport or jump. what about orbs? orbs make raven and ds have to respond or stay locked down in the neutral game where mmh can just dash in or start his pressure and 50/50s. there is no way i'm convinced these matches are 5-5 and mmh has to work equally as hard as the other 3

Sinestro's b1 out range's every normal MMH does, it is very difficult to hang with him in the b1/trait 3 range when I don't have trait. Also when Sinestro gets trait MMH has to respect him just like any other character does, reversal fear blast punishes pillar from a mid/mid-far distance, making it difficult to zone him properly. The player that makes the better zoning and footsie reads is going to win this match.
Those are all good points. My only response concerns the comeback factor. If sinestro falls behind in this matchup he's screwed whereas MMH can be effective with or without the life lead. In a neutral situation I agree it's 5-5 but once he falls behind he can't do much. B1 is great but only when the opponent needs to come in. My 2 cents, for what it's worth.

It is very easy to zone harley and chip her to death, she is always at risk during the zoning war and he can punish her cartwheel hard.
I dont agree maybe it's just me but she can gunshot him out of anything and then he has to rush in. And by then she has health lead . She also has setups to beat his wakeups and a 50/50 wake up chance

Martian Manhunter also gets 40% combos from the overhead teleport, so the risk/reward ratio is even, if not in Martian Manhunter's favor with interactable objects around. The chances of Raven going even with Martian Manhunter are slim to none. If you watch Jupiter fight Glass Sword, you can easily see that Glass Sword has to work three times as hard just to stand a chance to win.

Zoning characters are unable to generate enough offense and damage to win, so they lose 6:4 at least. I know for a fact that Zod loses 7:3. Zod cannot zone or run away and gets beaten badly at mid range. He loses on every part of the screen.
