Can some body help me raiden. His combo into instant teleport always gets the best of me. Can it be interrupted? And also how do I punish his superman when block as he is pushed back out of my 321 or 122 string reach?

You can dash on reaction to teleport. If you keep getting block do ex instead.

His superman is punishable by 321, you just need to make a half dash or so and catch him on his feet during recovery frames.

Also his 334 string(I think that's it, been a,whille) is interruptible by dash after 33 as well as his b3 string I think.

So, firstly... keep in mind that I play a very nooby and basic reptile, but I was just playing matches vs @Wemfs Noob Saibot and was feeling like it was a losing matchup. Just wondering what you all think that matchup is and what exactly do you look to do in that match.

I couldn't throw forceballs without taking clones to the face and spit couldn't recover in time before I would eat a teleport. So I would try to get in and elbow dash didn't seem to help too much. Maybe that's on my terrible spacing though haha.

Anyway, just looking for insight.

Also, yay MK!

Noob doesn't want you to ever block his projectiles. He just doesn't. It gives you free advances with dashes, or the opportunity to check his next clone with forceballs. His teleport buff makes it so that he can check your projectiles, but the teleport has to be done on a read because of how slow it is. From most parts of the screen, Reptile gets a free dash if he can whiff it, and gets close to free pressure. Also, Reptile has one of the easiest punishes for whiffed upknees, and easily sets up forceballs to blow up any of his wakeup options. Noob's lack of damage also kills him, because Reptile is getting 35+% for every combo. If that wasn't enough, Reptile's dash makes playing footsies vs him retarded, while d4 is pretty much better than almost all of Noob's normals anyway.

Before Noob got the teleport buff, the matchup was 7-3 Reptile, now it's just 6-4 Reptile. It's pretty much taking Noob's gameplan, and making it the wrong thing to do.

Just wanna know how Reptile bests Ermac in this MU.
Reptile pretty much beats Ermac similarly to how he beats Noob. Reptile makes controlling space difficult by simply blocking his best zoning option (push). Reptile also punishes push from such a far range, and even when he's too far away to punish, he gets in on Ermac. His oki game also smothers the shit out of Ermac.

This all pretty much applies to any zoner whose space control options become a liability as soon as they're blocked vs Reptile.

What do you punished a whiffed upknee with? I guess it depends on where you're at when he whiffs it yeah?
