Don't listen to randoms, Grundy does not fair well at a high level anymore, he has to work 5x harder than most to do damage.

When I did play on a regular basis it was with Deathstroke. Simply for the fact that he use to be really annoying, but would have the audacity to say you were. He is entertaining.

But, he's also lying dead on the cover of the game so that should give you a hint of what to expect. XD

Green Arrow has a really cool gameplay design. He just needs small buffs.
Doomsday is a ton of fun.
I would argue Bane does whatever he wants over Doomsday, but there are some matchups where you have to "work" to get in by dashing. But his dash is a teleport anyways.
Martian was a ton of fun for me when I first picked him up but then I got bored of him.
Batgirl and Aquaman are fun if you like playing footsies with slow walkspeed , but if you don't they will be incredibly boring.
Grundy also has a really interesting design but he has got some MU's where he has to work double overtime.
Flash if you want a well rounded character who loses to very few characters but doesn't dominate them hard either.
Deathstroke just to prove to m2dave (even though it has over and over again but it is still fun to do) that he is really good.
