How to get more into Injustice?

I've never been a DC fan, or a comic fan in general, which is where my main problem with Injustice stemmed. I'm starting to get into the game, but I'm having trouble finding a character to play. I'm not having issues with character playstyles, but personalities and whatnot don't really appeal to me. So far I've been thinking of:

Doomsday because he does whatever he wants
Superman but only Regime/Cyborg/Blackest Night Superman because he's a man
Black Adam because of his ego and his walk animations
Lobo because Lobo
Scorpion because MK 5 lyfe

How do I get more into the game? Who is the coolest character to you and why?

I liked DS because pewpew. Scorpion is cool becaue MK 5EVR

Solomon Grundy because he just walk(ing corpse cancel)s all over everything and everyone
Also, as per what should now be included in every reply, Scorpion because MK 5 eternity

The character may not speak to you Soup, but for familiar gameplay style you may want to look at Zatanna. She has some gameplay similarities to Quan Chi. Even if you use her as a launching point to get back into the game, there's worse places to start than the familiar.

I play nightwing because I think he's an awesome character and I'm also a glutton for punishment

Grundy is funny. I play MMH because he feels like character quan never was.

Also Black Adam has killed children before, so maybe that makes your decision a little easier

Play lex because your other weird friends PPJ and Revolver play him

Doomsday is the reason why I got back into this game when I was getting really bored with the game.

I just clicked with the character and have been playing this game for a few hours a day almost every day. It has been like this since VxG, which is when I first got a glimpse of this beast in action.

Just find that character that clicks with you and go from there.

INSUPERABLEMAN but i think ds because tough he makes people angry hes kinda like guile he makes you learn respect and that blocking actually matters in this game

Geoduck Lobo, Grundy, or Shazam seem like characters you should play. (I'd personally go Grundy duo to his over whelming swag factor that he has going)

Geoduck Nah man, he has more than just trait quotes. He has that comeback factor, WC cancels into everything, that award-winning anti air, resets, best clash dialouge of the year, well groomed hair, classy attire(expect his regime outfit, that shiz is trashy), and that corner game! good god his corner game is so good.

   The thing about the character I play is that execution and viability isn't an issue for me. I just want a character who can bring hype and make viewers happy Hence my main for 2 years lmao

Geoduck Hype is what this character is built around, man. He is the embodiment of hype. Everything he does is a crowd-pleaser. whats more satisfying/hype than catching your opponent into a 60% 1 bar reset when you're down by a inch of health and win the match? Or how about drowning a Soupman or a Bald Adam into your swamp juice? The answer: nothing, nothing is. Go for broke, go for Grundy.

I'm not a big comic book person either, but I decided to use DS because #BangBang and #TurnDownForWhat

I played Superman because I love Superman.

Play nude and whichever character gives you a slight chubby, your body and mind has made its selection.

play joker because lol and fire

Played bane because his d1 is godlike, and even though he doesn't have to, can play footsies. Plus his armour is like a giant middle finger to wakeups.
