I've used MB shake and it is a good tool but if the timing is even slightly off you are using a bar to eat a full combo. MB LC doesn't work. If Bane delays the attack it basically isn't possible to get the MB off in time. The MB portion is delayed when it hits a block or armor. I've tried this in training mode several times with Max. MB lightning uppercut isn't a move, you get the uppercut off a MB LC.
Reading through the edits now. The Lightning Uppercut doesn't have a MB itself but the MB for Lightning Charge (torpedo) is torpedo straight into lightning uppercut. This can also be done off the RMS torpedo.

I see I was right when I said Superman was not such a big deal all those months ago.
I feel that Superman is a powerful character against Bane. All Superman has to do is pop his trait and suddenly Bane isn't so tough anymore. The fact that Superman in trait breaks armor with normal moves makes Superman a tough MU for Bane, who relies on armor. I'd even say that Superman is a good counter to Bane.
I've never claimed BG vs Bane was favourable for BG. The current BG MU thread has it at 5-5 iirc.
Care to explain Scoprion? Just wondering since I never had problems against post patch ones.

yeah i think it was mostly banes who say she had an adv.and maybe some BGs because she breaks armor. the mu is slightly deeper than that.

I think that Bane has trouble against characters who can play keep-away well i.e. characters with a teleport. Objectively, Scorpian's been nerfed halfway back to hell and he's not a very good character anymore, but the fact that he has a teleport can make it difficult to keep him in front of Bane (and under pressure). It is debatable though, seeing as how someone can just scout the teleport and punish it.Care to explain Scoprion? Just wondering since I never had problems against post patch ones.
I agree with the teleport part but not Scorpions kind of teleport. Its easily punishable and its easy to stuff with DP (lol) on wakeup. Imo Scorpion is free.
Scorpion's teleport is very different to a keep away teleport lile zatanna's or Ares' . Scorpion's teleport puts him right up next to bane which is exactly where he doesn't want to be and it's easy to block (just hold down). Scorpion is the easiest match up for bane in my opinion

Block, abuse the fact that your trait lasts longer and is better overall. If you don't know how to be patient, anything is a good counter to Bane.
Really? I'm not going to pretend to know the match up number but I've always felt comfortable in that match. Guess that's due to not playing a high level scorpion though
Can't pressure him effectively since if he makes the read on your slow normals he can outright avoid your armors. Plus he isn't 100% free on wake-up, only like... 90%
