I was wondering this too, since the game spy thing only comes up when you boot up the PS3 version, not the xbox version.
I think MK9 uses the Steam servers, seeing it's integrated with Steamworks and your "download region"-setting has an impact on what region you play with.

I would be very annoyed if the mk9 I bought last yr for pc doesn't go online nemore. If NRS doesn't patch this game for online I am going to be very tight ad are many. If we don't get that balance patch at least patch so online works for us still. I doubt we will see any support just look at mortal Kombat arcade Koller ion (aka mkak) for pc games for windows live is being shut down and they haven't patched out games for windows live like other companies did for bios hock etc. Also @STORMS doesn't mkak use gamespy also ? I remember reading mk9 and mkak use the same Internet code or online code. I know mkak says it uses unreal tech which I assume is the games gui
Yeah buy I think sometimes nrs thinks injustice is mk9.5 till 10 comes out. Injustice is growing on me and I support our community but I need my mk9 heh
reptiles walk speed is actually good ... its his dash thats bad lol
but this sucks for PS guys. I never liked gamespy servers....I remember trying to play MKD and MKA on PS2 and couldn't even connect a full match
