I think Nightwing is definitely the Gen of Injustice - requiring the players to be able to switch stances very easily in order to face his match-ups.

He'd be so much better with double jumps or at least a better jump.

Yea I think we said he was on the bubble which was also dumb. He certainly has leeway before anyone can mention 'fraud' again anytime soon. Apologies to KDZ.

Moving forward, how can we work to avoid situations like FR? What needs to happen collectively? From what I gather the chief complaints were:

- Pools merging
- Late / DQ'd players being reintegrated into pools
- Pre-regs not being seeded properly
- 4g card / stream issues
- Mismanagement of pool schedules

(Did I miss anything?)

Jwong beats Sanford Kelly and no one pretends the Rufus/Sagat matchup is any easier for the sole purpose of putting guys like Ricky or Brennt "on blast."

When the NW community is on blast because KDZ obviously doesn't understand a match up - it's become clear to me that the divas that be would rather see fake ass blow ups than high level play.

This is all I needed to recognize the stigma associated with this community. Thanks for showing me the way out.

I have no knowledge of this being taken off of the front page. I have been at work all day. If fact, I re-promoted this around 3:30 PM and tweeted it out via mobile.

Without even listening to this but reading some comments, can I assume that there is Kombat Network bashing galore in this by @GGA 16 Bit ? If so, I'm getting the shits of this drama. The way I am seeing it is people who may have never ran a tournament want to criticize those who have been running tournaments for YEARS. I understand that there is a lot of money involved with traveling... obviously. However, bash, bash, bash, bash, BASH... okay, now what?

I don't like these issues any more than you guys do, so I hope things can be worked out..

I believe I will or someone else will show the problems w KN running future events in a pod cast or post soon

The blame is probably 60 FR staff and 40 KN and unlike shock we like dealing w issues not sweeping them under the rug so his relations w Larry and big e continue

What isn't continuing is people traveling to any KN ran events until.....not just me saying this but I'll be the delivery man

If you can't get like 50 people to stop going to those tournaments, its not going to make a difference. If its a handful of people...well...life will go on.

Did we learn nothing from the Winter Brawl fiasco? God damn.
Boycotting tournaments is not the way to fix things. Sure, this will factor into how you prioritize what events you go to, but boycotting anything that KN is running does nothing but hurt the scene and make our game look bad (yes, worse than a few stream issues and some bracket problems that were present throughout the event).
@Shock @GGA 16 Bit @AK Pig Of The Hut Be adults, sit down, and talk about what needs to be improved/changed going forward.
Do we need a more reliable 4G card to prevent issues there? I'm certainly willing to donate towards one, and I'm sure a few other guys would be to.
Need some more help running things? I don't always make it out, but I am more than willing to volunteer and help things run more smoothly.
Seeding has been and issue for a while in this game, and frankly seems very difficult to determine right now due to a lack of consistency in placing and any legitimate system to track such things, so rather than commenting on PL's bank of bullshit for 3 weeks, let's actually layout something that we think will work and implement it (maybe do a live show with as many of the top players as we can get our hands on and have a legitimate debate to determine what's best).
Pool management is something that needs to be worked on moving forward in general, but I honestly think it was awesome that some of the people were still allowed to enter the tournament a little late after traveling so far to attend, while people showing up late to their pools with no better reason than not knowing how to set an alarm shouldn't be awarded such courtesies.
This isn't hard guys. We don't need all this bullshit drama. This isn't Wrestlemania. It's a community, and a relatively close-knit one at that. Let's treat it as such.

The only reason injustice got the attention it deserved at WB is because my group and I made such a bitch fit and publicly boycotted the event. You all damn well know nothing would have happened if we didn't. And what happens, one tournament later, back to the same old shit?!

As an east coast player and tournament runner, I fully support you guys, 16bit included in boycotting any event where TOs continually take dumps on player's chests. It's the only way a difference will be made. If you keep going, they keep getting numbers and money; they won't change a thing.

That said, don't forget to point the finger where it needs to be pointed at the most. KN may take direct heat, but take a closer look at the FR staff, there's your bigger problem.

It's obvious at this point there's blame both sides but mainly w FR but still KN

Boycotts work extremely well, if you actually get enough people to boycott to hurt the pocket books of the people you're trying to work with.

Sitting down and talking doesn't seem to be helping at all, how many times does pig have to explain to people the difference between a legit Verizon card and the junk you pick up at Wal-Mart? People talk but the same mistakes are being made.

all nighwings switch stances. This is nightwing 101. Outside of tourney no one has watched NW play so it looks different. Not taking away from Murk but if you have ever watched a NW stay in one stance then they are not a real NW player or just learned him :p
