Sao deserved an honorable mention for heel of the year. DJT as player of the year is a no-brainer. I wish you guys did clutch player of the year again because Tyrant deserves an award for all the epic comebacks. K7 brought up the Satsui match which was as ridiculous as the Theo match at NEC (which is match of the year IMO. Either that or DJT vs Cowboy in MK). Tyrant really brought the hype, as always. Tom is the babyface of the year. Even those that hate him love him.

And thanks for the props!

I would proudly like to accept my award for most improved player.
I have worked very hard to get where I am now and shall continue to do so.
I would like to defend myself somewhat. I was not THAT bad at MK. I just sucked horribly at some matchups. Like Kitana. I was once told if you have trouble with Kitana your bad at MK.
I always choked horribly in tournament. So, I have nothing to show for that. If we are using Wafflez measurement I was not that bad since. I played players like Mr. Mileena and GamerBlake90 regularly and did fairly well. I only ever good enough to pull an upset. I was too shaky and unpolished to ever pull out a win in tournament however. Might as well been PantyChrist level.
Sorry PantyChrist, but it is a big deal when you convert landed d2s.

Yeah but the economic impact and fear instilled from 9/11 doesn't really approach some of the things natural disasters have done. Unless you want to blame the Iraq war solely on the hysteria generated from 9/11.

It's just for non-US people it always seems a little odd, I mean it's still a terrible thing that happened, let none of this take away from that, but still.

I'm gonna use the defense that if I didn't speed up, I would've involved another party in my accident, which would have been 100% guaranteed that it would've been a disaster. I fully expected a disaster anyway, but I would rather it fall on just my head and nobody else s, even if it ends up being a little worse for me.

Luckily, nothing happened. Still don't know what to think about it all. Pretty crazy.

Some of those disasters completely destroyed those countries economies. Haiti is still in a horrible spot to this day, almost 4 years later. Iraq war is not the disaster per se and sure it has been terrible (way, way more for non-us people), but it doesn't get close to the consequences of some of the other disasters. Pretty much what EGGXI said.
