I think the worst thing about fighting Bane players, at least from my experience with @BiPolarExpress - is this:

Bane doesn't give a fuck about frames.
Bane doesn't give a fuck about positioning.
Bane doesn't give a fuck about meter.
Bane doesn't give a fuck about you.

Bane players live their lives one level 3 venom at a time. Nothing else matters.
Instead bane has to watch his venom levels have a lot of match up knowledge. Just my opinion

Can gga seriously this thread up on an iPhone and ask me why it's always ggs GBS threads that have mAssssssssive amounts of dead space in the OP?
that's weird, must have something to do with the formatting. I'll see what can be done about it. I don't have and iphone, but on my android a lot of the text that is centered appears vertically, massively messing up the formatting. Is that the same way for you AK Pig Of The Hut ?

This mean you don't like me?
I am not that salty at Tony's if I lost but got top 3. Only some mild Bane tears.
Do you usually get the same thing at Tony's or is everything on the menu as good as GGA makes it sound? I have some family in Chicago, and as a food enthusiast I WILL go out there if Tony's is worth it. Oh and I'll probably attend GGA as well.

Trust me, I'm a doctor
what thread? Sounds interesting!
Its not even new. :| It has, literally and not even joking, been around since May. Just no one ever bothered to show it off.
Its a weird bit of stuff though, how it works. You'd think it to be obvious, but yet it doesn't function the same for both sides of the traited coin.
I'll find a link for you.

http://testyourmight.com/threads/bane-debuff-reset.39325/

If I had to summerize it, when Bane gets clashed, transitioned, or supered in any level of venom, it puts him into debuff but he doesn't take increased damage for the animation (however he does deal increased damage for each, barring clash.) The debuff of that level persists for its full duration, regardless of how much venom time was left on the clock (level 3 having 1 second remaining and Bane being transitioned will still reap the 30% damage reduction, but he will have to endure all 6 seconds of cooldown upon landing).

However, when he gets clashed, transitions, or supered in his debuff, regardless of level, it'll tick down the duration mid-animation and reset him to level 1 debuff. If his debuff runs out mid-animation his damage is reset down to neutral damage. If Bane gets clashed while on level 3 debuff, his clash damage will actually be only 10% reduced instead of the usual 50%. It could also be a short transition, like Darkseid, and it'll take him to level 1 even though the animation wouldn't last the full duration of level 3 cooldown. A longer one, like Wayne Manor's transitions, will reap full damage by the end of its animation.

So, with how much its considered, one might think to transition Bane for that big unclashable damage, but you're actually getting rid of his level 3 debuff and, depending on the transition, he is only taking about a level 2 debuff's worth of damage in trade for being free of the corner. Likewise, Bane can clash off his own level 3 debuff as well. If his level 3 is about to run out mid combo, the Bane can opt for a super and if timed right, it'll still get about 30% damage and it'll put him back to level 3.

As I said, its complicated and the write-up does it best because of the video support. I can't say its the end-all-be-all, but I've seen it happen enough in matches to know it does indeed happen, and quite often at that. Next time you watch Max play on stream (or in person for you, GGA HAN ), make a note of how often he managed to shake off his own debuff through this method and you'll find out it happens maybe once or twice a set.
