if it hits I can get free 114 pressure. If its blocked I can get a grab, or I can bait an attack with armor. I can also set up u3 and u34 setups off of it.

Smoke vs Skarlet in depth can get scary. 1 frame shake~backdash will catch instant down daggers on read from just outside f4 range, and im sure theres a frame to EX Shake out of EXdagger strings! Smoke bomb whiff punishes f4 if he is walking backwards when you push it and also her dash can punish smokebombs from near on full screen with little drawbacks if you mis-time it.

I like smoke MU. I think it's 6-4 skarlet but a breakdown would be good

Skarlet has better neutral game with and without meter, smoke has better damage and i want to say "easier conversions" but what i really mean is skarlet isnt getting in for free and little mistakes get punished hard and leave you in the corner or under pressure.

I just think people are basing their decisions on what they have seen. which is the current skarlet community with terrible execution and Dizzy's cage. they arent on the same level to compare

IMO neither is better. F3 is faster, safer and hits mid. Skarlet has a harder time with low hitbox characters and is meter dependent. She also puts herself at constant disadvantage. But Skarlet builds more meter and has 50/50 mix-ups with high damaging combos, and she has a hit-confirmable armor move.

Bro, i really dig your gameplay man, your skarlet is really good, there is some moments where i was screaming the hell of on the stream chat saying "Grab him", because pig just chocked on corner because of her pressure. I'm pretty sure you can do it man, throw out some grabs sometimes, also, take advantage of your spacing, he whiffed a lot of F32, you have the power to put a F4 in there man ^^
