I think you're looking at this the wrong way, no matter how good you are there's always someone better, no matter what you do. Nothing is impossible though and nobody is unbeatable. The important thing is that you learned the game, seem to enjoy the game, even through the frustrations.

Don't take them seriously, try to improve, but don't get too involved plus we still have not played in MK and I want to show you my new CAS, PassionFruit(LOL).

You could always do all three, play Skyrim, go to school and play MK relaxed and casual. I'm going to school right now and when I had five classes I still made time for friends, MK, fam etc. Same with my first job, it's all about balance.

Yeah, that's my problem, my balance is just outta whack...gotta change that. I think I could reach the intermediate/median level where I am in MK in SCV but it'll just require more patience; something I never really bothered learning when I was younger but ugh is it critical as a grown adult.

Yeah I've been contemplating trying her. Just been playing Mitsu since I never really kept up with the series as a kid, friend who's been playing it actively since PSX has been bodying me pretty bad lol. But yeah, she has some brutal gimmicks just like Quan lol

I honestly think that Sindel is a better character than Nightwolf, her mixups are pretty dang good. Hardly anyone uses her like that, but that paired with her ability to zone is quite frustrating.

I agree, Sindel is beast she just needs 1 armored eh move. I think the NW shoulder charge is just that good plus the best Instant Reflect makes him a solid character nonetheless. Big D definitely showed he could be a solid main along with a good complimentary character. I do think you do need a backup or 2 . I use Sindel and Ermac

Yeah, NW isn't bad at all, he requires a little help for bad MUs but he's still not bad

I tried getting into Cervantes, sucked something fierce with him, now I'm using Mitsu for the time being; since he's a good entry character. Good damage without a whole lot of work!

5 is the center of your pad/stick. the rest comes naturally.
notating a hadoken motion would be 236, notating a kano ball would look something like 641236, etc, and then the buttons are simple enough...

A = square, your horizontal weapon attacks, B = triangle, your vertical weapon attacks, K = circle, your kick/body attacks, and G = x for guard. other specific 3D game shit isn't hard to remember, like CH for "counter-hit", W! for "wall splat," etc, and is stuff you'll learn as you learn the game (if you choose to learn the game.)

You get a controller which isn't total horseshit for FGs, you get free online, a 160gb HD and a blu-ray player for a whopping $250. 360 you get a controller that's ass for FGs, you have to pay for live ($50 for the year), a 4gb flash HD which won't play a lot of games, no blu-ray player for $200. You spend $50 immediatley off the bat anyways so it's $250 regardless.

Then you have to take the controller into account, which is at least another $30. So $280+ in all reality. No blu-ray player and no free netflix on top of it all. You're essentially buying an overly hardware dated paperweight once next gen comes along. This thing will be 100% useless. The PS3 will at least suffice as a media outlet.

Spend the $250 on a PS3 and spend whatever additional money you have (I recommend at least $750) on a desktop and quit buying the vast majority of overpriced horseshit games on console. Most FPSes also have dedicated servers on PC as well, which means no lag, and you get a friggin' mouse and keyboard. Consoles are good for FGs, that's it. Everything else...ass. Total ass.
