PS2 to 360 Converter by eTokki

k ignore everything i said before. it was the controller. i replaced it and it works fine : ) so now my problem is that there is a lot of friction on the dpad and the analog sticks keep getting in the way. but like i said these are my problems. : )
Good stuff, is the friction on your d pad because of that controller or you arent used to it?

Got mine today, works fine but getting used to the ps2 controller has been a bitch lol, is it better to individually hit the d pad buttons or roll over them for inputs?

Big time con with this product is that if you barely even touch the analog stick, it'll make your character walk forward or backward continuously until hit the opposite direction softly until the character stops. This is a big problem because it's easy to accidently make contact with the left analog stick, and even the lightest touch will send the character on it's endless walk. I'm gonna have to open up my PS2 control and remove the analog stick covers real soon. Very annoying when you're in the middle of a match and your character is forced to walk.

Other than that, this thing works exactly as advertised. Buttons are mapped perfectly and the inputs are just are sensitive as they are with an X-Box controller. Recommended, just be ready for the problem listed above.

It's best to just roll.

Man, I'm so psyched for this thing, but they've been out of stock for at least the last 2 weeks.

Also, a question: Can you just use a PS1 controller without the analog sticks?

Good to know; sounds like a good way around the thumbstick sensitivity issue.
I actually didn't have to take them out after all. Once you play on it for about three days you'll be able to avoid the stick without a thought. I think I spoke too soon, though I do still believe it is the ONLY con to the converter, but if it remains a problem for people just go on YouTube and see how to remove the stick covers. There's loads of videos on it there, it's very simple.

And by the way, they're in stock now. The company(Ryan Ahn?) was on vacation and now they're back in business. I ordered mine a day after they got back and received my package a week and a day later. That's impressive for South Korea to Indiana with a $2 dollar shipping method. eTokki is run very well and professional.

Jaquio is right, they are currently out of stock. Rest assured, more will be in. These converters are in high demand since they're the best of best. It says the wait is about 15 days. When they get back in stock, I'm buying another just to have on reserve.

Indeed--I suppose I'm just being impatient. I was hoping they'd be in stock by now, because when i emailed him about the availability 2 weeks ago, he responded that they would be restocked within the week.

However, with the high quality and popularity of the items sold by etokki, I imagine that the owner is a busy fellow.

I just ordered one from Focalprice.com, somewhere in shoryuken they say thats where he gets his from.. just a heads up. they shipped it yesterday too

So after looking through all 9 pages of xbox accessories on focalprice.com, I don't see it anywhere on the site. It's blowing my mind how hard it is for me to find this converter.

Either that is it or it is a duplicate. I ordered one and also this one that works with PS3 controllers. It has hilariously bad packaging but it seems to work good according to others.

Thank you sir; it appears my quest is finally over. My Hori Ex2 Turbo broke a few weeks ago, so I've been chomping at the bit for a new pad.

No idea why I couldn't find the converter under their Xbox peripherals or through keyword search, though.

is that for sure the eTokki at focalprice? if someone can confirm I will place my order now...
I havent seen the package but it looks exactly the same

that other converter is not very good, from some people i know that have tried it. Some say ok, some dont. thats a no buy imo.

According to shoryuken.com (who the etokki webmaster is a member of), it's the exact same converter. The product is manufactured by a company named Tinybee, and is distributed by focalprice and etokki.

For anyone new reading through this thread, eTokki.com is back in stock on these converters. And I'm 100% sure because I just put in an order for my back-up.

is the ps2 dpad more reliable than the 360 one?

edit: can someone post a picture of the best one?
Its all about preference, but i bet more people prefer the PS2 pad as the best standard controller for fighting games (and yes, its a lot better than even the PS3 dual shock)

Picture of what? the best PS2 pad?
