Do I have to be there Friday if I buy a pass online? Or can I register Saturday morning to save an extra night in a hotel

Assuming you are referring to Mortal Kombat 9, you can check-in on Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM as well.

Everybody that purchases a player pass must go to team-builder.majorleaguegaming.com to complete their registration. This is where you input your name, birthday, and is also where you receive the Media Release/Parental Consent forms.

Yes, the passes are electronic. When you get to the event, you'll go to the Player Check-in lines and provide your MLG Username/Real Name. I'd also have a photo ID with you as well. After you are checked in, you will then receive your player wrist band.

MLG Deimos (& anyone else who may know) when is the last day to purchase the MLG player pass? We are organizing a trip from Toronto between five people and I want to get on everyone to commit to this trip so let me know please? And thank you.

Also, any news on what the format is going to be like? Double elimination, brackets, etc.....

Monday, March 19th at 11:59 PM ET is the deadline to purchase a player pass online.

As for the format, it has not yet been released; however, the schedule does include Winner Rounds and Loser Rounds, so it will be a double elimination bracket. Information around seeding should be released soon.

Awesome, good to know. If we miss the only opportunity, will the passes still be available at the venue? I will most likely sign up before Monday, just wanted to make sure though. Thank you for all the information.

The only guaranteed way to get a Player Pass is to purchase it online in the MLG Store by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, March 19th.
