Nice man. Can you still do it from 222 if you land a 4 before?
Yes aslong as you end it in 222 it works. I believe its the gravity caused by 212. It wasn't working off of 214 but I didn't try implementing the s4 in it. It probably enables it after 4 thanks to the gravity it causes.

Just hopped in the lab to mess around with it for a second. You can do it off any combo. Off 214 you have to add in the 4, like J360 said earlier. It WILL work if you land 222 on a crouching opponent as well, no combo needed. Also a note is that you can add a standing 4 to any combo where they're frozen in the air (224, 212/4) due to the fact you're using 222, it'll still land. Can also do it off 22~Freeze,NJPx2, B12, then 222 for 28%.

Might be useful in some scenarios. Gonna mess around a bit.

I was able to do it after a naked 212 on hit but its very inconsistent. I wonder what the highest possible combo for it would be.

I've been using that a bit more recently, because of the knockdown and the fact the clone ends up so close. Didn't think about jumping cloning though. Nice!

not sure how the clones work with the 3d hitboxes and stuff, but would it be beneficial to swap stance before the clone so that their front foot is on the same spot as the clones foot, possibly causing an instant freeze should they do anything after standing up? Ive had issues with the clones and getting caught by the toes of it when poking or doing anything, so this looks like something you might want to try out. Overall this looks really frustrating to have a clone that close to you in the corner, subs corner game is rediculous enough :(

So far my best one is 34%: 214~freeze, 4, 1, 222. Add a JiP for 37%. A bit risky though since if you drop the 1 and whiff 222, you're as open for rape as Scorpion on a whiffed spear.

Funny enough I was trying this with the opposite stance and it wasnt coming out as consistent. Im still unsure on whether or not this is stance dependant I have a feeling it is because it works 100% of the time I'd sub is facing the screen. Great idea though.

Confirmed for not stance dependent. However, you can't move forward at all after 222 or the clone will whiff. Something else is that, since it IS so close, any advancing wakeup will probably be able to bust through it if they get enough invincibility frames. People will likely be too scared to try it due to the risk/reward, but I'm just saying it's possible.

222 gives a very nice combo ender for any 212 landed in the corner because you're not missing out on much damage. 212, freeze, 1 224, slide is only 31% anyway. You can add either a standing 4 after the 212, freeze (timing is very sketchy, however) or a standing 1 (timing is very generous) before the 222 and still get your clone.

Set the AI to wakeup attack... can you block it?

If yes... great find. If No... not using it. i'll take my 38% (41%) and pressure after.

If you land 22 freeze in the corner, you want to back up for a jip b121 because it guarantees a 212 blockstring into clone and 212, clone is the best ice clone setup Sub has in the corner.

I saw in the vid that you were in the stance with your clones foot touching the enemies foot, so i just wondered if it was worth aiming for that every time :D

Agreed. Tbh not many people do this but sometimes I just take the last hit to disable his ice clone for 4 seconds lol
Not enough people do this or punish between the last two huts nearly enough

If you take only the last hit of the 212, clone in the corner, the clone will freeze you and Sub can then go ahead and do this 222 stuff into an ice clone on your wakeup :).

Okay, so, uh.... Some weird shit just happened.

Training dummy is Reptile. I did 212, 222, clone. Then I did a slide as Reptile stood up and he fell in to the clone. I've tried about 10 more times but haven't been able to do it. Depending on how this works out, this might actually be really nice.

Another thing to add, as well, if you're pressuring with 21 and your opponent is say Cyber Sub, don't change your string to 214 to stop the parry, just cut the string off at 21, clone, leaving them with an ice statue picking their nose. The ex slide setup still works off it, you just build slightly less meter and do less chip damage.

Just following on from J360's points about 212. :)

From what I experienced that's random. I've gotten out that way, I believe its character dependant but I could be wrong. Same thing happens when i Land 212 into ice clone on someone who doesn't even block.

This is correct. Also has anyone experimented with throw inyo clone? Ive been getting it alot in matches where I forward throw them into a clone and they get frozen. I know back throw is inconsistent with the freeze but forward throw has worked every time.

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
J360 with another idea to add to the list of Awesome Ideas.
The recovery on 222 is so slow, I never even thought to throw a Clone after it because I thought it'd get eaten by Wakeup or Armor, but if it's somewhat safe to do, I'd call that a winner seeing as the pushback on 222 makes it so you won't just throw a blank Clone because of your proximity, but you dont have to waste frames moving to make sure it comes out.

This calls for a sexy party.
