My best advice is to not play online or at least play nw online. If your going to anyway, do f32 axe axe 1 1 12 choke.in lag it should still work.

Hmm, tbh.. i gave up on the idea lol.. You cant even play nw properly when we spar online.. so i think i stand no chance. I'll stick to my Mileena/Sonya ;)

Nw online is a joke...and honestly, we have one of the worst connections I've played in. It's never gonna be good and I'm sorry I suck so bad online. I feel like a retard every time I play you. Lol

Fly, how do you follow up 1221?

Obviously not when it hits because its pretty much a free combo/throw but when its blocked?

It pushes them back and its neutral on block. Been trying F2 with some success because of the distance but im pretty sure its jumpable.

If not hatchet seems like a good defensive option but its too far away, and shoulder is predictable although it works the first few times.

I love the 1221 string its his fastest and builds so much meter so i do throw this out just as much as 122 hatchet for the launch

Was just clearly stating that when we play online, Lord isnt half as good as he is offline, as is noone, - Hes allways telling me he feels like a retard, But as i said, his tourney vids say otherwise! Its online thats retarded. Offline i very much doubt i'd stand a chance against his NW, allthough would be fun to have a coupla matches. Shame we live in different Countries tbh, i myself play alot better offline.. :)

I start with the shoulder to train them to block or duck...if they start blocking I'll dash in and do 1221 again or throw or pressure with low pokes, f3, etc. If they start ducking I'll do b22 cause it hits special mid or I'll do 1221 again from farther away cause the second hit lands. If they jump the 1221 should hit anyways or if you catch it early bring them to the corner with 1,1,1,1,1,1,1(7 is max) 122 shoulder. Or you can lightning...it's risky that close but if they are blocking it will hit. Eh for a combo.

That offensive. U can go defensive also and get an uppercut, and axe, or air to air jump punch.

Awesome guide Fly, and I'm looking forward to meeting you today at the level up meeting. I might start NW as a 3rd but I can't get much practice with him because of the lag online.

Haha yea, I was trying to take it all in because it was my first tournament. I tried my hardest but Pig's aggressive Mil is insane. I didn't want to play my Sub vs Cyuss since that would've been a mirror match up and everyone knows sub mirror takes forever, plus we were tight on time. I live in Suwanee but I'm willing to travel for competition. Only problem is I'm 17 so I'm limited to the days I can go and the time I stay til.

Fly would be the better one to answer but I think NW can reflect them. Idk if it shoots them back but I know it absorbs at least..
I've tried reflecting the ground fireball and I could never get the timing right. Either that or you just can't reflect it.

Iaf can come out so fast that they disappear in front of nw making reflect useless. They can be spaced above nw head making nw guess and take risk. But yes they can be reflected.

Saw can only be absorbed.

Surely there must be more than 1 high level NW player? No offense to LOTF because he's an amazing Nightwolf player but I feel like I must represent NW at the next local tourney and get some footage in hoping to have some more variety in here. Especially with everyone saying how overrated he is :(


Edit: Also if anyone has taken NW to some tournaments lets get some of that footage in here.

I havn't found this anywhere else so I might as well post it.

Not worth blowing your meter for unless you want an unbreakable assured win. In some rare cases it can make the difference between winning or losing so they're worth learning.

Use these if your opponent almost has two bars.

In most circumstances you should use:

Major thanks for the thread LOTF! I love make-shift pokes into specials (ie cr. jab into axe) since I think they work really really well.

I have video of some matches of back when my NW was like 3 days old. I'm working hard on maintaining him as my main :)
